Chapter 4
Doctor Swan had just finished injecting the plutonium into the patient. She had meant to finish the kill quickly, but unfortunately the girl named Nadia had woken up during the process. She had put up a good fight, Doctor Swan had thought. But, as always, the person with the plutonium wins. Now Nadia rests unpeacefully with the rest of the patients Doctor Swan had murdered. She didn't just go around killing random people, no. Doctor Swan always had a reason when she murdered someone. "I hated that bitch in high school." She said to herself.
There were a few drops of blood splattered on the bedsheets and the floor, but it was quickly cleaned up because she wanted to get rid of all evidence as soon as possible. Swan had to briefly leave the room to go retrieve a gurney to put the body on.
Once she had finished rolling the 145 pound corpse on the gurney, she draped a sheet over it, and, as innocently as possible, began wheeling it down to the morgue. In the hallway, a staff member had given her a slightly suspicious glance, but Doctor Swan had quickly driven away any doubt by giving a quick nod and a hurried "good evening". After the other employee had passed by, Doctor Swan picked up the pace. She wanted to dispose of the body while she still had a chance. Once she had gotten to the morgue, she pushed open the doors without hesitation.
