Chapter 3

"I'm so stupid, how could I not think of that?" i thought, scolding myself for forgetting that the hospital was open 24/7.  Quickly, I thought up a Plan B.  I took a deep breath, plastered on a friendly face, and walked into the building.

I had entered the main lobby (vacant, of course) and saw a girl at the front desk talking on the phone. She had fair skin and looked to be about 28, with straight, long, chestnut brown hair pulled back in a ponytail. Apparently busy, she held up a finger signaling that she would be with me in a moment. Being part of my plan B, I saw a list of patients on the desk and quickly plucked a random name that I could use.  My victim is a middle-aged man named Johnathan Bush.

The girl who was working at the desk had ended her phone conversation and asked, "How may I help you?"  I answered her by saying, "I'm here to see Johnathan Bush."

"Relation?"

"I'm his daughter."

"Okay, name please?"

"...Kaitlyn Bush."

"Please stand in front of the camera right there and look straight." There was a small click. "Okay, Miss Bush, I'm having an ID made up for you rhat will give you access to the foors. your father is in room 308."

"thank you very much" i said hurriedly while I clipped the badge onto my dark blue t-shirt.  Everything had been so easy.

However, I had not come here to see some guy named Johnathan Bush. I only needed a badge so I could get my way around the building. I had had a friend who volunteered at the hospital, and I recalled her telling me about the morgue being in the basement.  I found my way to the basement easily ( I only needed the badge once and it gave me no trouble at all).

When I arrived at the double doors marked "MORGUE", I stopped. I had to think about all that I had just done, technically tresspassing. I just hoped I didnt have a camera watching my every move. I took a deep breath and went in.
