"that's great! i was thinking we can go to this restaurant in town? it's called rico's and it's really nice"

"sure that sounds great"

"alright i'll pick u up at ur hotel tomorrow at 6:30?"

"i'll be there" i said giving him a smile

"great! i'll see u at practice tomorrow?"

"hey what time does it start at tomorrow? bombay didn't tell me and ryleigh and we don't have a schedule"

"oh it starts at 6:30 tomorrow, i can send u a picture of the schedule if u want?"

"that would be great thanks. well i'll see u tomorrow"

i started heading out and met ryleigh at the gate

"sooo?"

"what did he say?"

"he asked me out!"

"remember when u said u weren't gonna spend time on boys and u were just gonna focus on hockey?"

we both just laughed and kept joking around all the way back to the hotel

"ryleigh did u see a phone in the hotel anywhere?"

"i think there was one in the lobby"

"okay thanks"

i went to the lobby and asked one of the people at the desk if there was a phone, they said yes and showed me to the phone

i phoned my mum because it felt like ages that i hadn't talked to her

"hey mum"

"hey sweetheart how's the new team"

"it's really great!"

"is everyone nice? make any new friends?"

"most are nice yea, and yea i've made some friends"

"what's their names?"

"uh well there's a really nice girl called connie, me and ryleigh stayed at hers last night and these tho people charlie and adam are really nice!"

"sounds great! and nice looking boyssss?"

"i meannnnn i'm going on a date tomorrow with adam"

"no way!"

"yep"

"well i hope you have a good time but i have to get to bed the now because it's really late"

"wait i need to tell u something!"

"okay so only me and adam know butttt we're going to be playing for team USA!!!"

we finally got to practice and went into the locker room and got changed, ryleigh has already left and as i was leaving i seen adam about to leave aswell

"are you exited to see everyone's reaction when coach tells them about team USA?"

"yesss i'm so exited to see the look on everyone's faces"

"same it will be so exiting. so are we still on for tonight?"

"of course? why wouldn't i be"

"we should probably head out to the ice"

we walked over to the ice and skated on

"alright everyone come in me adam and
y/n have something to share with you guys"

everyone looked at us so confused untill coach started talking

"alright so first thing, tomorrow we have a game against the tigers, but that will be your last game as the ducks..... and that's because... we will be playing as team USA!"

A/N:okay so the updates might be a little slower than usual because i'm starting school tomorrow, and also i'll have homework. i had homework in s2 but i never done it o be in the whole year but because i have my prelims which is a practice exam this year my mum is making me😩i'm going into s3 and if ur not scottish it's like my third year of high school so like year9 or 8th grade and i'm shitting it, we chose our classes this year so im not in all my classes with my friends😭 ugh n e ways do u guys want me to update u on my first day on the next chapter?
