Jungwon and Jake stopped on Jake's porch.

"Can't you just hide from her in this house?" Jungwon asked, looking at Jake's big house.

"It's kind of hard. I've tried, trust me." Jake said.

"I wish you could stay. Jay said he was going to tell Heeseung he likes him." Jungwon said.

"He likes Heeseung?" Jake asked.

"You've got a lot to learn." Jungwon said. Jake smiled.

Jungwon knocked on the door. Jake's mom answered.

"Who's he?" Jake's mom asked, in a sweet tone.

"He's my friend." Jake said.

"What's your name?" Jake's mom asked.

"Yang Ju-" Jungwon started. Jake cut him off.

"Yang Jeongin. He's Yang Jeongin. The loud annoying guy I've mentioned before." Jake said.

"Well, then come in." Jake's mom said, smiling.

Jungwon smiled and walked in.

"I've been busy all day. I didn't even notice you leave Jake." Jake's mom said.

"Sorry. Jeongin texted me and said he wanted some ice cream. I'll make sure to tell you next time." Jake said.

"It's okay sweetie. Jake, why don't you show Jeongin your room." Jake's mom said.

"Yeah. Of course." Jake said, fake smiling.

Jake turned Jungwon around, looking back to see his mom glaring at him, telling him to not say anything.

Jake took Jungwon to his bedroom upstairs. Jake closed the door.

"Did you forget my name?" Jungwon teased.

"You're the reason my mom hurt me... Not, i-it's not your fault, but you were my reason." Jake said, sitting on his bed.

"Sounds sweet, you're my reason." Jungwon teased.

"N-no. That's not what I meant." Jake said.

"So what, you're blaming me for you getting beat?" Jungwon teased again.

"Sorry. I just meant, well, I can't tell you what I said, but you were some part of me going to school early." Jake said.

"You don't need to be sorry, I'm just joking. I don't need to know your reason. I can't imagine what you're going through." Jungwon said.

"Thank you." Jake said.

Jungwon smiled.

"When you feel comfortable, I'll leave. Just, I need to be home before 11." Jungwon said, rubbing Jake's back.

"Knock knock." Jake's mom said, knocking on Jake's door.

"Come in." Jake said.

"What is Jeongin doing here anyways?" Jake's mom asked, setting some cookies down on Jake's bedside table.

"I wanted to walk him home. I've never been to his house." Jungwon said.

"Has he been to your house?" Jake's mom asked.

"N-no. I've invited him, but he's always busy." Jungwon lied, looking over at Jake, reading his eyes telling him to lie.

"Okay. I'll show you out if you're done." Jake's mom said.

Jungwon grabbed a few cookies.

"I'll see you at school. Bye." Jungwon said as Jake's mom lead him out.
