I flop on Colby's couch that's in his room. We were going to watch his new video together.

They apparently filmed this video when him and Sam went on a trip with two friends of theirs in May. It was a couple weeks before I met him.

"How excited are you right now?" Colby asked while sitting next to me.

"Very. I watched all your videos from the time you were arrested to now." He looked at me surprised.

It was surprise and shock from how much time I've had to watch it. When he told me when this was coming out, I binged their videos.

I should've done it before but I didn't realize how good their videos are.

"What? I didn't lose too much sleep." I half tease. He lightly laughs as he shakes his head.

He slings his arm around the back of the couch, making my heart beat rise.

I try to remain calm, like nothings happening. I kept my eyes on the screen in front of us as it counted down.

As we waited, Colby reached down and grabbed some of my sour Skittles. I try to swat his hand away but he grabs a couple any way.

"Ask next time." I fake sass to him. He gives me the 'oh really' look as I try to not laugh.

"What if I don't?" He smirked. I can't be having this conversation with one of the hottest guys I've seen.

But I need to play it cool. So he doesn't think I'm weird.

"Then no more for you." I meant it too. He was going to say something, but the video started playing.

We got quiet as we watched it together. The more I watched their videos, the more I wanna do things like this.

I wanna go out and explore the world because life is so short.

It's crazy how they started doing this in twenty-sixteen for YouTube and I was still in high school.

It's so weird that we were at different places in our lives.

And somehow, it brought us together. Colby kept his arm around the couch the whole time we watched.

When the video finished, I looked at him smiling. "What'd you think?" He asked, hope laced in his voice.
