--Josey--

I get up to the sound of my phone blaring Thunderstruck by AC/DC. I blink my eyes open and tap the stop button on my phone. I lay back down for a minute, and then I stretch. I pick my phone up from my side table to see if I have any notifications, and I see some from Instagram and a text from Cher. It looks like it was sent a couple of minutes ago. I open it.

Cher🥰: Hey. I know it's early, but could you do me a solid and take me to school and home today? My Jeep is acting up.

I think it over for a moment.

Me: Of course, Blondie. 😉

Cher🥰: Yay! Thanks! Ur a lifesaver.

Me: Don't mention it.

I swipe out of messages and go into Spotify, where I put on my morning playlist. I set my phone on my side table and get out of my bed. I then head over to my closet, where I mull over what I'm going to wear. It needs to be something hot, just for Cher. My cheeks and core heat up at the thought of her. God, she's gorgeous. I bet she's already gotten something great picked out.

Soon enough, my eyes land on a tight pair of black ripped jeans, a 'Falling in Reverse' shirt that I cropped, and a pair of net leggings to put on under my jeans. I head over to my shoe rack, where I grab a pair of studded combat boots.

In under 5 minutes, I manage to get everything on and fitting right. Now for the finishing touches. On my vanity, I grab a couple of chains and put them on. Finally, I do my usual face of make-up: Dark lips, eyeliner, and a good amount of foundation and other products.

There. All done.

I look myself up and down in the mirror. Damn. I look good today. After checking myself out for a couple of minutes, I proceed to pack up my backpack with my computer and whatever books I need. I also throw a pack of gum in as well.

I take my phone off its charger and shove it in my back pocket and throw my backpack over my shoulder. Now I can head downstairs for breakfast.

When I descend the stairs, I'm immediately hit with the smell of bacon—my favorite. When I reach the kitchen, I see that my dad has just finished making breakfast. He looks up from the plates and greets me.

"Good morning Jojo." That's his little nickname for me.

"Morning, dad. Breakfast looks delicious."

"Here, I just finished getting it all ready."

He pushes a plate with a fork and knife over to me on the counter: Bacon, eggs, and a piece of toast. I immediately dig in, and within a few minutes, I finish what I can.

"Wow. You ate that quick."

I swallow. "Yeah, I have to pick up a friend." I blushed. I tried not to, but I did.

"I saw that. I guess she's more than a friend to you?"

"Well, I really like her. I mean, we kinda just met, but I just feel something when I'm around her. Yaknow?"

"I totally understand. I was the same way with your mom."

"Really?"

"Yeah." He laughs to himself.

"You're gonna have to tell me about it another time, dad. I'm going to be late if I don't leave now." I say and give my dad a hug before heading into the garage to my car.

I hear my dad yell, "bye!" And then the door closes.

I take my key off its hook and head to my car. I open the passenger side door and toss my backpack over the seat and into the back. I close the door and finally get over to my side, where I open the door and slide in. I pull my phone out and see that Cher sent me her address. I tap it, and it takes me to maps, where Siri begins telling me where to go.

I close my door, start my car, open the garage door and pull out into the driveway. I plug my phone in and start my driving playlist. I roll down the windows and turn the music up.

I peal out of my driveway and head to Cher's house. I can't wait to see her!

After about a 5 minute drive, I make it to Cher's house. I pull into her massive driveway and turn my music down. I only wait a minute until I see the cute blonde walk out of her large front door. I feel my jaw drop when I see what she's wearing.

She's wearing a pair of jean shorts that hug her ass nicely, a low cut, black crop top that accentuates her breasts, a pair of converse and red flannel that hung off her frame, her bag hung over her shoulder. I watch as she walks toward my car. I close my mouth and get out. I walk to the other side to open the door for her.

"Hi, Josey! Thank you!" She says in her perky voice.

"You're welcome," I reply and shut the door behind her.

I walk back to the driver's side and slide in, clipping my seatbelt. I take the wheel and peal out of her driveway, heading to school.

"Thanks for taking me today. I tried starting my Jeep earlier and it just wouldn't start."

"I can take a look at it later today when I take you back home."

"Really? You wouldn't mind?"

"Yeah. It's no problem. Oh. You can put on whatever music you want."

"Cool."

She plugs her phone in, and Ariana Grande comes through the speakers. I turn the volume up a bit and put the windows down. I look out of the corner of my eye and see her staring at me. I smile a bit and continue driving.

Soon, after about 10 minutes, we make it into the school parking lot. I find a spot quickly and park. It looks like we still have some time, seeing as the lot is still relatively empty. It's nice for once.
