Hello!! Ive been diving into marauders lately and if its alright, can I request a Remus x Potter! Reader (James' little sister/Twin) who didnt go to Hogwarts but instead attended Ilvermorny(? Is that how u spell it? Omg sorry) and they meet for the first time at year 5 where Remus and Sirius decided to stay at the Potters for the holidays♡ fluff + protective James please if its okay :)) thank you!!

You loved Ilvermorny but it was a special feeling to come back home for breaks. Winter break was your favourite, and why wouldn't it be? Winter break meant Christmas! You loved everything from the smell of cinnamon of the freshly baked pies and cookies. To the comforting smell of the Christmas tree. Christmas was a lovely time at the Potter's. Growing up with James was something too, he was a very extroverted person. James always was best at what he did. He also had a group of friends he liked to call The Marauders and you had heard many stories of their adventures. But you had never had a chance to meet his infamous friends.

You attended a different school than that of your brother. Why? On your eleventh birthday, you had received an acceptance letter from a foreign school "Ilvermorny". Ilvermorny was located in North America, rather than Hogwarts. Your parents were reluctant at first to let you attend a school so far, but Ilvermorny was a very prestigious school known to produce very successful wizards. So now you were in your fifth year of school and James in his sixth.

This year your parents had invited James two best friends to spend the holidays at theirs. Your aunt was accompanying you home for the break as usual. It was a very cold day when the two of you were making your way home. The English winds were not showing any kindness either. Shivering you reached home, you could hear your mother's voice from inside, smiling you took a deep breath. As you knocked on the door, you could hear footsteps making their way towards the door. Your mother opened the door "Y/n honey" she said embracing you, she pulled away and you walked inside. "Look how tall she's gotten Fleamont. Over like a foot since the summer hasn't she?" Euphemia Potter exclaimed looking at her husband. You shook your head taking a seat on the couch, "Yes, a little more and I suspect she'd be towering James" your father joked. "A little hot coffee would be nice Euphemia," your aunt said clearing her throat. "Oh, I'm sorry honey I'll get some coffee.

"You took your chance and started upstairs, you could hear loud voices coming from your brother's room. You knocked "Come in," James said and you opened the door. "Sis!" James exclaimed once he saw you he hugged you. James looked back at his friends and said "This is my sister Y/n, and Y/n this is Sirius." Sirius had dark hair and grey eyes. He took your hand and kissed your knuckles "Nice to meet you mademoiselle" Sirius said in a French accent. James pulled him away "She went to Ilvermorny , not Beuxbatons." He stated. "Oh," Sirius said but then he winked and said, "Does it matter?" "Anyway," James said, "That's Mooney uh Remus, that's Remus Lupin". Your eyes flickered in the Lupin Boy's direction. He was taller than the rest, had light brown hair that was neatly kept. And then his eyes, he had beautiful honey-coloured eyes you also spotted a tiny scar above his nose bridge. Lupin had surely caught you staring at him so he hastily took out his hand. And said "It's nice to meet you" you shook his hand embarrassed, colour dusting on your cheeks. "Ye-yeah it's nice t-to meet you too" Shortly after this introduction, you were to go downstairs for dinner.

Dinner was lovely, everyone was laughing and smiling, oh and the food was magical. After dinner, you volunteered to clean up, even though your mother insisted that you go to bed. So here you were scrubbing your way through the plates humming slightly. After a while you thought you heard something, you looked around trying to locate the source of the sound. The source of the sound made its way to you, "Hey" Remus said in an unsure voice. "Hi, what are you doing here?" you asked looking at him confused. "Oh, I just- couldn't sleep and thought I'd come and help you." He said smiling sheepishly. "Alright," you said handing him a plate. As you two started talking it didn't take you long to find out that Remus was a very witty and funny person. After the both of you finished, you were feeling very tired and wanted to go to bed. So as you wished Remus goodnight and started walking out Remus called out "Hey Y/n" you turned around "Yeah?" you asked, "You've got soap on your nose." He said and he wasn't laughing at you. But still embarrassed you quickly wiped the soap and continued walking away. "I don't think there will be more chicken left Prongs" "Pft I'm telling you I saw her put away some leftovers". James and Sirius carefully made their way to the kitchen "Hey look they're hungry too!" Sirius said looking at Remus and Y/n, James, however, squinted at the pair of them "What are you two doing here?" he asked. "I was cleaning up and Remus helped me," Y/n said with a sleepy shrug, "You asked Remus to help you?" James enquired crossing his arms as he looked at his sister. "No I didn't ask him to help me, James, he couldn't sleep so he came down and offered to help" Y/n explained. With one swift step, James corned Lupin "What are your intention with my sister? I'm warning you Mooney if you do anything funny and I-" Y/n dragged him off. "He wasn't doing anything James, stop acting out," she said. Remus stood there looking flushed "Nice!" Sirius said and winked at him. "Now I think I should get to bed and FYI the chicken is in the green container on the counter," Y/n said walked up to her room.
