Pinching Serena's nose shut Ash wakes her up.
"Good morning Sleepyhead"
"Good morning Ash" Her soft voice lingers lazily.
"Why are you up this early?" Serena questions setting Pikachu aside on the bed
"I have something to do today"
"Ohh..right your gym battle, I almost forgot" Serena says scratching her messed up hair.
I chuckle seeing her behavior.
"What?" She asks.
"Uhm...nothing"
"Are you sure?" Serena asks, can't say for sure if she's being playful or serious.
Serena gets up and stretches a bit yawning a bit as Sits beside her.
"Are you ready for the battle today?" She knows I am but still asks.
"I am!" I say as she just nods and leans on my shoulder resting her head on it.
"Be careful" she says I've heard her say it too many times now.
"You know I will be"
"I do but, that gym leader you are about to battle is really tough" Wait is she doubting me...Nah I'm sure she's just scared a bit reading all those crazy exaggerated magazines and articles.
"You think I'll lose?" I ask casually.
"NO!...I just asked you to be careful....you have a habit of falling for the same trick over and over...and the person you're gonna battle knows exactly how to exploit that" i fall for the same trick over and over...I don't...do I.
"Does that really happen?"
"Yes, very often actually" her reply shocks me...do I fall for the same tricks like that
"Well then just tell when I do" easy solution to it have her tell me when I do it. But she just laughs it off.
"I'm being serious here" I glare at her for laughing when I was talking sense.
She laughs me off yet again.
"Oh, I know you are...." Sere laughs yet again.
"Come on Why are you laughing now for?"
"Well....Nothin" Sere you ain't getting away this time.
"Come on tell me now"
"I said it's nothing didn't I....that's it" Sere declares, better shut up for now.
"Alright, i give up" Sere smiles at me.
"Good Boy" did she really just call me good, was I ever bad?....scrap that.
"Hey we gotta go right, I have a long battle ahead" the thought of getting battle to battle full out after such a long time. I can't explain how I feel.
"Well your excitement is clearly Audible" What does she mean by that?
"Your Heartbeat just went faster...just like the time when you hugged me, when I was crying over something really stupid" Sere explains, I'm surprised that she still remembers all that, here I am didn't even understand what she meant a minute ago.
"Everyone's heart beats faster when they are aroused or afraid" I never knew, where did she learn that from?
"Where did ya learn that from?"
"From one of my Mom's stupid Ryhorn racing lessons" Why would her mother teach her about heartbeats and all for Ryhorn racing? Wait she just called her Mom's effort stupid, How can she do that.
