My body was numb and in overwhelming pain at the same time. I couldn't breath let alone move my body. I knew what had happened to me, I could see the dim street light fading further and further away as I fell deeper into the water.

I could only reach out, but that was little help to me. I could barely feel something wrapping around me, I was being pushed closer and closer to the surface. I had only seen then in books for children, but... it was a sea dragon, without a doubt. She had a sleek white body with warm pink eyes and fins. I was fading fast, I still couldn't breath, and she could tell. Her face came close to mine, I can only describe it as a kiss, but It was a way of saving me...

After that, I was on shore again, I couldn't stand, but I was breathing heavily. Water dripped from my long black hair, but what I didn't notice at the time was the streak of dark pink tangled in the rest of my hair. I collapsed on shore under the bridge, out of sight and safely hidden.

Three people just tried to kill me within the span of a few hours, I could have passed out anywhere. . .
