"Yama-kun!" Called Yachi. She met up with Yamaguchi at a cafe nearby Karasuno. It was starting to get popular lately and Yachi invited him to come with her there.

"What do you like?" She asked him. Yamaguchi looked at the cakes that were behind the cold glass and chose a shortcake.
Yachi ordered a shortcake and a mango frappe.

"You're not gonna eat anything Yachi-san?"

"I'm on a diet" she replied waving her hand.

"Well if you're on a diet then maybe you should order something less sweet" said the cashier worker. Yamaguchi and Yachi looked at the boy then Yachi giggled.

"Maybe, but it's a cheat day" and she laughed.

"Okay, one mango frappe and one shortcake" he said and looked at them then winked.
The two student found a table at the back of the cafe because the tables near the entrance are filled with other students. Some from Karasuno and some from other schools.

"Did you see that Yachi-san?"

"See what?" She asked him.

"He winked at you! Maybe you should try to talk to him"

"At me? I thought he winked at you!"

"I don't know, we're both sure he's not probably gay right?"

"Oh. Good point"

Minutes later they were served by their food and drink.

"Enjoy!" Said the waitress and left them. Yachi sipped on her mango cappuccino happily and Yamaguchi ate his shortcake quietly. He didn't know that Yachi stole side glances at him while he was looking out the window even though they were far from it. She poked Yamaguchi at the arm to get his attention. Yamaguchi turned his head and looked at her with his eyebrows up.

"I haven't seen you order that before. Knew taste?" She asked him.
Yamaguchi grinned and nodded. He took a bite from his shortcake and was thinking of Tsukkishima.

This was Tsukki's favorite cake...

Then he started daydreaming of him again. He remembered when Tsukkishima would usually talk to him about his problems. But those days came by so quickly.
He remembered when he would catch Tsukkishima dancing along with the sing that he was listening. But those days went by already. He was colder than ever. They were slowly drifting apart. He hated being lonely again.
