Chapter 17: Deanna's Birthday

Deanna's P.O.V. 29th of March 2378

I woke up, confused for a few minutes then I began to get ready for work as I was back on the Enterprise. As I was just leaving my eyes were drawn to a small card on the table lying next to some flowers in a vase, which I was almost certain had not been there the day before. The card read: Dear Imzadi, I hope you have a wonderful birthday, Will

That's right! How did my boyfriend remember my birthday but not me? I guess that comes as I get older

'Happy Birthday Imzadi' 

'Thanks Will, see you after work'

-----------skipping work because I'm not writing continuously sitting on the bridge for 8 hours------

I was now heading to ten forward for my 'surprise' birthday party, and yes I do know that it is a surprise because there's 1000 people on this ship and word gets around. As I passed my quarters on the way I found Beverly trying to find me in my quarters.

"Beverly?"

"Oh there you are, I've been calling for the last 10 minutes. Where were you?"

"I'm heading to ten forward Beverly"

"Why?"

"Because you probably shouldn't tell a certain leiutenant Barclay that you're planning a surprise party for me"

"We should probably start doing that, it's the sixth time this year"

"So are you here to take me there or to prevent me from going there?"

"Take you there they're probably done by now"

"Let's not tell Barclay it's his fault I know"

 "Yeah well just stop telling him we're having surprise parties"

----------at ten forward because I ran out of ideas to talk about-----------

"And remember act surprised"

"Beverly, I know the most about emotions on this ship, I think I can act surprised"

I enter ten forward to be surrounded by my friends and co-workers.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY"

"Thanks guys" I say looking around those closest to me

I find a group of the senior officers who pass around birthday congratulations but there's one thing missing, one person who is more dear to me then anyone in this room, my best friend, My soulmate, My Imzadi

"Where's Will?"

A/N Hi guys, yeah I know it's not Friday and yeah I'm pretty sure I'm not going insane because I know what you're all thinking, 'its not Friday' 'why's she made a video, well because you guys just hate me promoting you and any books you have I'm probably not getting any shoutouts in the last few chapters because we're reaching the end guys after this you will only see 5 more updates before this book becomes my completed book but I need to know: would you guys like more of ARS or TTOTSITS or I have a little idea for a new book which I could type out on my account under conversations which you would see in your notifications if you follow me, if I get no replies then it will be ARS by default.
