"Are you ready?" A sweet smile is plastered on his face. I can see it clearly.

"I'm always ready, love." I kiss him on his cheeks as I look up at him and smile back at him.

"Hop on now then. And put your arms around my waist, don't ever let go, okay?" I nodded my head and mount his motorcycle and as he instructed, I put my arms around his waist.

Feeling his warmth makes me smile. I sniffed his scent, he smells like a baby, he smells like home.

I can feel the coldness of the wind, the sky looks unhappy. I think it's gonna rain.

I look up at the sky and I felt the rain starts dropping. It rains so hard instantly.

"Hide! I think we should stop first! The rain is too heavy." I can't see anything due to the heavy rain and im sure the road is slippery.

"Just a few minutes and we'll be home, Nala. I'll be careful, don't worry." Hide is a great driver, he always makes sure he is driving safe, especially when I'm with him.

He drives slowly than usual. I tighten my grip on him. I'm nervous and scared.

We are at the intersection. We stop for a while because it's a red light ahead, but it turns green in no less than a minute. Hide drive slowly since it's still raining hard.

I noticed a fast-approaching car on our right side that makes me tighten my grip on him even more.

"Nala! I love you!"

And that's the only thing I heard after the car crashed into us.
