The siren of the ambulance seems ringing in Hide's ears. He looks around, looking for his fiancé.
He found Nala quite far from him, showering from her own blood. The impact that the car made was a lot that made both of them flying away and landed far from each other.
"Sir! Sir! Can you hear me?!"
All seems blurry to him he can't hear properly, his ears are still ringing.
"N-Nala." And all blackout.
The medical team did a first-aid revival, giving him air to make his heart pump again.
They arrived at the hospital instantly. The nurses attend to them quickly.
Hide and Nala were both receive emergency surgery.
Parents were informed of what happened to their child and told to go to the hospital.
Hide's doctor is the first one to exit the surgery room.
"How's my son?" Mother of Hide in tears asked the approaching doctor.
"He's safe now, Ma'am. He received no severe damage and he is transferred to the recovery room."
"How about my daughter? Is she safe now too?" Nala's mother is scared and all, she knows, she can feel something that is not good.
"Let's just wait for her doctor to come out, Ma'am. Let's all calm down and hope for the best result." Nala's parents sat down and Hide's parents went to the room where their son was transferred to.
After an hour, the doctor that did Nala's surgery comes out, a sad expression is visible on him.
"Doc, how's my daughter?" It's Nala's Dad, her mom seems lifeless at the moment.
"I'm sorry, we did everything we can, but she didn't make it. We're so sorry."
Hearing those words makes Nala's mom cry in silence, thinking why their daughter has to leave them so quickly, why their daughter has to be in that accident. Too many why's and how's.

Did I really die?
If that's the case, why am I still here? Is there no God that will take me to the light or whatever they call it?
Shit. How about Hide? Did he die too?
I was about to grab the doorknob to open it but I ended up getting through the solid door.
I guess it's really true, a ghost can really go through anything.
I saw my parents hugging each other and crying. I hate seeing them like that. Why did this thing happen? Why it has to be me? Why did I have to die?
I went closer to them, hoping that maybe I could hug them, but my arms just went through them.
I am a ghost now, but why I can still feel pain?
I wander around looking for Hide's room. It's really weird when you can pass walls and no one can see you.
After passing through several walls, I found his room. His mom is beside a sleeping Hide and his dad is nowhere in the room, he might be in the cafeteria or something.
He seems fine and alive. Just some scratches on his pretty face and cast on his right arm and a huge bandage around his right leg. All and all, he seems fine and very much alive, not like me. I saw myself, pale skin, pale lips, and dead.
Still, it's a good thing, he's alive. My love is alive, but sad because I'll be not there with him anymore, sure I'll stay by his side, watch over him, love him still, but he can't see me nor feel me.
I went beside his bed and I reach for his face, acting as I can caress his face.
"I love you, Hide. I always do."
