- Chapter 26 -

Louise's POV :

Annabelle left the hospital room... Logan and I were left speechless.
She had lied to her father and that might cause me to get in an immense amount of trouble.
I looked at Logan with a worried face...

- What're we gonna do?...
I said.

He grabbed my hand and told me...

- We're gonna tell the truth.

I smiled and nodded.
He was right.
It doesn't matter what she says.
We'll be telling the truth.
And we're going to prove it somehow.

Visiting hours were over and I was forced to leave.
They had told me Logan would make a quick recovery and he'd be discharged soon.
Once I was home, it was family movie night, but all I could think about was what Annabelle had done.

- Louise? You ok lil' baby?
My mother said.

- Yeah I guess I'm just worried about Logan.
I said.

- It'll be okay Louise, he'll be okay.
Said my dad.

I didn't say anything to them about Annabelle.
I didn't want them to worry.
I really was worried about Logan but was more afraid of what Annabelle would do.
How could she do this.

After the movie :

The movie was over and it was time to get some shut eye.
As I lay in bed... All I could think about was Annabelle.
I couldn't sleep at all.

Whilst going to the kitchen to get a snack, I notice it's 2:36 AM.
I had been laying in bed for 4 hours.
It felt like only 20 minutes.
As I snacked on some chips.. I sent a text to Logan...

" I can't sleep r u up? "

After about 2 minutes of sending it I received a reply.

" yup, can't sleep either."
" nurse gave me melatonin "
" didn't work. "
He said.

"Wanna call? "
I said.

We stayed on call all night, until we both fell asleep, hearing each other's breathing.
It was very calming.
Once I woke up, I had realized my phone died last night, due to the fact that I didn't plug it in the night before.

I rubbed my eyes as I plugged in my phone.
I put on my slippers and made my way to the kitchen to get some milk.... that's when I saw Annabelle and her parents standing in our kitchen....
