I cant believe that Leondre and Charlie were here. I was happy but I felt weird. They've brought back so many memories. When I first met Leo and when he took me to his practice with Charlie. When Leo rapped to one of my songs. When we all went and eat one of Victoria's pizzas. When Leo got told off for jumping over the couch. When I noticed that a Devries family tradition is to cover somebody's eyes and ask "guess who". When we went outside to play in the snow. When Tilly nearly got hit by that car and I pushed her over out of the way. When I was told that I was in a two day coma. When I realised my leg had broken. When me Leo and Charlie went to the winter carnival. When we all went horse riding. When I babysat Tilly. When Joey came home early and told me that Sean was upset. When I found Sean all sad in the front garden. When I over heared my parents saying that we were moving home. When I had to tell Zoe. When I ran to the barn to talk to Maisy. When Leo overheared me talking to Maisy. When we went for that last ride. When I said the final goodbye. The two memories that stuck out most were when Leo asked me out and when Leo told me he loved me , I told him I did too.
I felt happiness and sadness in my heart when I remembered these things. When I was thinking about this it was 05:30. After I'd finished remembering these beautiful memories , I got out of bed and started to get ready. I got a quick shower and then got changed into a pair of light wash jeans , a white tank top and a plaid shirt that I kept open. I then put my hair into a high ponytail , put on my socks and boots and then I raced out of the house beimh careful not to wake my parents. Especially my mom and my grandparents who are staying with us for a while. I got outside just as Leo walked up the path with Caleb and Charlie trailing behind him.
"I'm so glad that youre ready. These two haven't stopped talking the whole way here" Leo laughed. I jogged down the path and joined them.
"Yeah? I knew that they'd hit it off" I joked.
"Are you talking about us?" Charlie asked laughing.
"I'm sure that your mom has told you that it's not polite to talk about people behind their backs , if she hasn't then I'm sure your mamaw has , shes a very stern woman" Caleb joked.
"You're right Caleb , she is very stern so I'm sure she wouldn't support that joke" I replied pretending to be deadly serious.
"Sorry" Caleb said looking down.
"Caleb , I'm kidding , my mamaw is strict sometimes but she's like the world's funniest mamaw" I said and he started blushing "Let's get going"
We all walked to the lake together. Caleb and Charlie in front and me and Leo walking behind them.
"I forgot to give you your birthday present yesterday" said Leo when we were walking.
"Really? I didn't expect you to get me anything anyway" I answered truthfully.
"I almost couldn't. I've been saving a lot of money to come here so I didn't have much left. Eventually me and Charlie agreed to pay halves and get you this..." he said and he gave me a bracelet with several charms on it. (Pic above).
"Oh my gosh , thank you so much , it's beautiful" I said and I gave Leo a hug. As soon as I hugged him I didn't want to let go. My head fit perfectly in the crook of his neck. I held on for as long as I could and Leo did too until I heared him say "Come on , they'll be quite far ahead by now"
We let go and ran to catch up with the others.
We got to the lake five minutes later and met Josh and Taylor. Caleb , Charlie , Leo and Josh all sat together on the grass while me and Taylor sat together higher up on a rock.
"So , am I right in hearing that you and Caleb are dating now?" she asked quietly so that the boys wouldn't overhear.
"Yeah" I answered casually.
