I woke up in shock because somebody downstairs was squeeling with excitement. I quickly grabbed a cardigan and ran downstairs to see what was going on. I went in the living room and saw a family reunion going on. Charlie , Brooke and Keeley were stood in the middle of the room in a group hug. Everybody else was sat watching. Except Caleb who wasn't there. I perched on the arm of the couch smiling at the beautiful reunion. When it finally ended Brooke walked away and sat next to me on the couch. Everybody began to quieten down so I sat on the couch properly.
"Get out your camera" whispered Brooke so I did and then I pressed record. Then something extraordinary happened. Charlie got down on one knee pulling out a black ring box from his back pocket and opening it exposing a ring. Keeley covered her mouth and began to cry. Charlie smiled. I don't know why but I was crying too , I was just so happy for them both.
"Keeley" Charlie said nervously "You are a nightmare , a total clutz and sometimes you are just impossible to work out"
"What?" she said quietly.
"You didn't let me finish" said Charlie "Sometimes it may be impossible to live with you but the only thing that is even harder would be living without you"
Keeley's tears build up and she started doing a little sniffle.
"Will you please not make me do the hardest thing? I can't live without you and that's why I want this to happen. Keeley Jackson , will you marry me?" Charlie said. Keeley nodded quickly.
"You are impossible to live with" she said helping Charlie to his feet.
"But?" asked Charlie.
"But what?" Keeley joked "I guess we'll have to be impossible to live with together , of course I'll marry you"
I was so happy for them! Charlie put the engagement ring on Keeley's left ring finger and they kissed and then hugged. I then ended the video and sent it to Keeley and Charlie's phones. Everybody started gathering around and congratulating them. Then Keeley pulled me outside the room.
"Thank you so much for videoing it all. I can't believe it" she said looking down at her ring.
"No problem. I hope you guys have an amazing and long future together" I said.
"Charlie was hoping that I would say yes so he actually planned everything before we came here. We're being married on the 23rd" she said.
"That's 9 days away" I said.
"And how do you know that you'll like it? And what about your dress?" I asked quickly.
"As long as Charlie is there and Im surrounded by people that I love then I'll love it and he had my mum's old wedding dress flown in. Of course she got devorced from my dad but I still want to wear it" said Keeley. "I was kind of hoping that you , Tilly , Brooke and Mackenzie would be my bridesmaids"
I squeeled. "Duh!" I shouted.
"Get dressed then and all five of us can go and look for bridesmaids dresses" said Keeley excitedly. I ran as fast as I could upstairs and began to get ready.
