I ran through my room throwing a bunch of random clothes on and rushed out. Leaving the house, I listen to the slight rushing sound of a nearby stream. I finally made it to the nearest store and began to pull down some necessities from the shelves surrounding me. Happy that I still had time left for my day, I hurried to the check out line. But, of course, the check out line was going on forever. I pulled my cart up to the line and waited, scowling slightly.

An hour later and I was rushing back home, slower than before because of the load of groceries in my arms. I made it home and slammed the door closed. A smile made it's way on my lips and I started to put my groceries away. As I entered the kitchen, I noticed the refrigerator door looked to have been thrown open. A strike of fear shook me and I looked around. After finding nothing out of the usual order, I laughed, it was probably nothing. I packed my refrigerator with food and filled my few cabinets. Yawning, I looked at a clock that was placed over my shelf full of books. It was 7:39 p.m. I decided to get some sleep, sad that my day had been taken up with grocery shopping.

In the morning, I awoke to a sound of crashing in my kitchen. I instantly got up out of bed, grabbing a bat from my sporty days. I jogged to my kitchen skidding to a stop when I caught sight of a man in a mask standing with my food in his hands. His mask was completely white, but the eyes and lips looked black, I glared at him.

"Get out of my house! I will whack you upside the head!" I shouted, wielding my bat high. The man seemed to look back and forth from the food and me, deciding, I thought. Unfortunately, he chose the food and tried to rush away with it. A scream of anger rose in my throat and I ran behind him, bat raised over his head. "I didn't mean with my food!" I yelled at his retreating back. Maybe next time someone tries to steal my food i'll be more specific, the thoughts raced through my head and a smirk grew on my lips. I chased him outside and he ran to where the stream was. He jumped over the water and turned to watch me, where he seemed safe in the woods. I felt determination and knew I wasn't going to give up without a fight.

I stepped back, my eyes still trained on the masked man. Taking a deep breath, I jumped over the running water and began the chase again. But this time the thief didn't move, he only watched me grow closer. I was ready to hit a home run, his head as my baseball, when he ducked and grabbed my ankle, pulling me down. I fell, hitting the ground hard and groaning.

"Give me back my food." I said, ready to throw my bat at him.

"You don't know when to give up, do you?" He asked, squatting and looked down at me, a few strands of brown hair dangling. I took my chance and tried to hit him, but he grabbed my bat and jerked it out of my hands.

"You don't know it's not nice to take people's food." I growled as I felt the wood leave my hands. He stood again and sighed. I noticed his hand held out for me to take, the food was in his other hand. I took his hand, letting him pull me up and scowling. "You're not giving me back my food?" My question seemed to surprise him, but he just shook it off.

"I don't have any other food." Now it was my turn to be surprised.

"Well, you should have just said that! Come around anytime, I got plenty to SHARE." I said, making sure to exaggerate the word share. He sighed and nodded.

"Thank you." He said and I smiled.

"No problem, my name's (Y/N)." I held out my hand for him. He shook it and nodded some more.

"You can call me Masky." He said and I shrugged.

"Nice to meet you, Masks."

"No, it's Masky."

"That's what I said, Masks." My smile grew, happy to see it was so easy to aggravate him. He sighed and began to walk away.

"Whatever."
