" So what do you think of this dress ? " I say that morning as I stand in front of mum and Lori for the tenth time.

" Honey it's nice " mum says with a tired voice

" That's what you have said when I wore the other nine dresses " I say with a frown

" Well that's because Callum those dresses were nice too " Lori says as he pats my mum back.

" Oh " I mutter

" Thank you " I say and run back up the stairs to my room. I stare at my reflection in the mirror. The purple sundress looks perfect on me and I actually like it. I took my brown boots out and I wore them before checking my make up again.

Did I add too much eye liner?.

I grab my bag from the shelf and my phone off the cord before walking down the stairs again

" Finally you settled on this one. I was going to have an heart attack if you had come back here with another dress on " mum states and I chuckle.

" Yeah you look good in everything you wear Cal and he will be a fool not to notice you " Lori finished and I smile as I nod my head.

Car honk

" Yep Jay is here ... Gotta run guys " I state and kiss both their cheeks

" I love you mum .. love you too mum " I say and hurry to the door.

" Have a nice day honey " mum says as I close the door.

I hurry to the car and open it.

" Really ? " I say with a frown as I open the door of his truck. I was already here but he had to honk right in my face. Riding with Jay was the most annoying. I can't wait to get my car back.

" Oh good morning. Didn't see you there " he says and smiles.

" Oh let's just go " I say and shrug and he laughs

" Buckle your seatbelt " he says and I do so before he starts the car, then moves back into the lane as we drive to school.

I check the time and it's exactly 7:40. Still have time for breakfast before the bell rings

" You starving ? " He asks as if he read my mind.

" I'm ravenous " I say

" Okay then brownies it is " he says and turns the car towards the direction of the best diner in town.

" Yum " I say as the thought of brownies with strawberry jam fills my memory.

Jay and I get to school exactly ten minutes before the bell will go off. I stop the song that we had sang from the diner to school ang unbuckle my seatbelt.

" You suck at singing " he says.

" But you love me " I say and pout

" I know that too " he says and ruffles hair before getting out of the truck. I grab my school bag too before getting out and then shutting the door.

" Took you so long to get to school " Savvy says as she and Tasha walks up to us

" Chill will you. We got you guys brownies " Jay says holding sacks of brownies up in the air. Well I didn't even know when he got those.
