PUNZ wasn't the one to always like physical affection. he wasn't all into skin-to-skin like hugs and cuddling
y/n was kind of like that. they sometimes liked physical affection, weird but they liked giving it more than receiving
pda wasn't a huge thing in their relationship, they would hold hands but never liked kissing and being all over each other in public. it not only made the two uncomfortable but it could make other people uncomfortable
punz was currently debating asking y/n if they could play with his hair
it always something punz and y/n would do instead of hugs, it felt more comfortable.
he just didn't want to ask and then y/n saying no, because then he would be embarrassed and that's something punz does not like
he slowly walked out of the shared bedroom and walked into the kitchen
punz saw y/n just finished putting the groceries away, he stood their like a child
a gasp left y/n's mouth not expecting punz to be standing right there
"you-you scared me, everything alright?" y/n asked closing the fridge
"yeah?" punz said but in his tone, it came out more like he was questioning the answer
"do you need something?" y/n asked standing infront of punz, he looked away and asked "can you uh- you know.. playwithmyhair?" punz asked
y/n smiled, "sure-" they started but punz took their hand walking fast over to the couch, he sat y/n down like he laid his head on their lap
punz closed his eyes as y/n played with his hair
"i need a hair cut" he spoke quietly, "i like the length but if you want i can get you into the barbershop you like" y/n said
"no if you like the length than i do"
