Ashlyn's POV

All I could do on Friday, May, 17, 2023 was cry.

Closing night of my last drama production as a Wildcat. Miss. Jenn decided to put on the production of Frozen: The Musical for Gina and I's last show. Two powerhouse, bad-ass females. After the past two years, Gina had decided to stay with her friends here at East High. It was mainly just Gina and I at school now, but everyone is achieving their own dreams. Gina is dating EJ now...finally. Nini is working on her first Album, Ricky is creating his own business as an entrepreneur, Kourtney is currently creating her own makeup line, Seb and Carlos currently run a "Gay and Proud of it" podcast, and Big Red is working at the pizza shop. Big Red. The love of my life in simple terms, we've been together since New Years when Beauty and the Beast was announced. Sure we've had our ups and downs (like Antoine) but we've overcome them all. Unlike Nini and Ricky who never, as much as they tried, got back together. At the closing night of last years musical, Biggie even gave me a promise ring, a true symbol of how strong our relationship is.

"Hey my queen" Gina said, walking in their dressing room, still in her Anna costume.

"Hey G, what's up?" Ash said, throwing on her sweatshirt.

"Just still on a high from tonight. You did an amazing job, your Let It Go was spectacular!" Gina said, while walking over to the other girl.

"Thanks", Ashlyn said, "You and Walter really nailed the Love Is An Open Door song, your dancing is incredible".

"Thank you, do you want to go get pizza to celebrate" Gina questioned, grabbing her bag.

"Sure, that sounds like fun" Ash said, following her out of the room.

Gina's POV:

Well what Ash doesn't know is that we have a huge surprise for her, or Big Red does at least. We've all known about it for a few weeks, but we've all had to keep it a secret. Ashlyn and I had to arrive at Slices around 9 p.m. which should be plenty of enough time to get there.

Big Red's POV:

It's currently 8:35. I've talked to Ricky about eight times to calm my nerves. Ash doesn't know the real reason as to why she's even coming here. It's been 3 years since I've sung this song, not completely confident on how it's gonna go. Our first Valentine's Day, Ashlyn and I sang and danced to Red Means Love, and danced while Kourtney was practicing her song. It was the moment I knew I loved her...when she laid her head on my chest, and I wrapped my arms around her tighter, so she felt safe.

Ashlyn's POV:

Gina and I arrive at Slices and it is really quiet. We sit down at a seat, and I notice a mic up on the stage. Out in his red tuxedo, comes my boyfriend, with his little dorky smile.

"Hi Ash" Red says, as Ashlyn waves, "I bet you were coming here for pizza, but there's another reason as well. All those years ago, we sang Red Means Love together. Well here's the new and improved version for us now"

( the ooh-ooh-oohs are being sung by Ricky and Gina, the rest is Big Red, and read it cause I changed some of the lines 🤭)
