Cupcake?

Big Red's POV:

Ashlyn is coming over tonight for much needed time together. After the events of career day (and Antoine) her and I had a sort of disconnect. She did come over with the Slices shirt, and we were all cuddled up that night, but unfortunately that was the night Ricky and Nini broke up and he came over cause he needed someone to cry on. That someone was me, and Ash too, as Ricky made his appearance during our post-argument makeup movie night.

Ash was going to be over at 7 p.m. tonight, and she was spending the night too, so we were going to have a great time. It's currently 5:45 so I have to wait a little bit, but it's okay. Ash's parents are home, for like the first time in forever, and her and EJ's parents wanted dinner together.

I know Ash was a little nervous for our first sleepover together by ourselves, but I know she'll be okay. I, however, am super excited for the two of us to have a whole night together, with just the two of us. I told Ricky in advance too, I'm just hoping he got the hint of what this night would mean for Ashlyn and I's relationship.

Ashlyn's POV:

I just want to go to Red's. I know, I know, "Ashlyn your parents aren't ever here, you can't get through one dinner?" Well no. Not now at least, not when I have a perfect boyfriend waiting for me to come over to his house.

I'm sleeping over at his house for the first time. We've spent the night as a group before, but tonight will just be him and I, and his parents but both Red and I know they'll leave us alone.

"Ash, honey, do you want anymore potatoes?" My aunt asked, sitting across from me, using the spoon to put more grilled potatoes on her plate.

"No thank you, I'm all set." I replied, starting to get antsy to go grab my bag, glancing at the clock.

"Oh she wants to go see her boyfriend, go ahead sweetie, we love you!" My mom told me, and I bursted out of my seat to run up the stairs to grab my phone and my packed bag. I didn't need a blanket or anything either since Red told me I could use some of his.

When I got downstairs I gave my parents a kiss on the cheek, as I skipped over towards the door, "Bye, love you all,'' I yelled, and before I could hear their response, I closed the door and started my walk towards Red's house.

No one's POV:

As Ashlyn saw Red's house, she got a bigger pep in her step, as she neared the door. Raising her hand to knock on the door, she released a deep breath. Mrs. Redonovitch (Ashlyn's adopted mom) opened the door, beaming at the younger girl that she had taken a fond liking for, "Hi, sweetheart, are you excited for tonight? It's all Red's been talking about for the past few days" she asked as Ashlyn stood blushing in the older woman's embrace.

"I'm very excited, thank you for letting me spend the night." Ashlyn answered, stepping out of the hug, glancing at the basement door.

Mrs. R had a growing smile on her face,"Ah, young love. Go downstairs, he's in the shower I believe right now, but he's waiting for you." She nodded towards the door, pushing the girl slightly.

"Thank you," and with that Ashlyn started her way down her boyfriend's stairs. She set down her bag at the end of his bed as she made her way over to the chair to wait for him.

Walking down the stairs, Red jumped as he caught his girlfriend's gaze "oh, um, hi. I didn't know you were getting here early," he told Ashlyn as she got up to hug him.

"I was just super excited for tonight, and your mom let me in. Sorry, I should've messaged you to ask if it was okay for me to come a little early," Ash said as she stopped walking towards Red, glancing at the floor guiltily.
