Big Red's POV:

I've been at the school for about an hour (and yes I have chugged half the bottle of Pepto Bismol during this hour). Thankfully I came prepared. I don't know how everyone does it, this costume is itchy, but I want Ash to be proud of me, so I'll put up with it. She's already putting up with me throwing up, I can't ask her to put up with my nerves as well. Especially when she's already nervous on her own behalf.
I know she's felt insecure these past few weeks because of her wrist, but I try to keep telling that she's perfect... wrist brace or not.

We actually had a *long* conversation about it last night when we all went to see North High's performance of Beauty and the Beast.

(Enter Flashback Music)

Leaving the theatre, all of the East High cast and crew had their mouths dropped. The show was even better than any of them had hoped it would be. Multiple stood out amongst the talented cast. Lily as Belle, Antoine as Lumiere, and Howie as the Beast. Their show looked like broadway material, considering probably the thousands of dollars they got for the show everyone could understand why.

"Did you hear Lilly's riffs in Something There?" Big Red heard his girlfriend ask when he was walking her home, "They sounded amazing, and the rest of the time? I don't think her voice cracked at all!" The red-headed girl was astonished to say the least. She couldn't believe how clear the blonde's voice sounded. "Your singing is just as good as hers...no I take that back, it's one million times better. You have the best voice Ashlyn."

Looking sweetly into his eyes she whispered a quick, "thank you," and kissed him on the cheek. ",I'll see you tomorrow" smiling at his favorite person, Big Red smirked and replied, "you and I both know we are going to call each other as soon as you shut that door." Ashlyn shrugged her shoulders, "Fair enough, bye!" "Bye, cupcake!" And he was correct, she FaceTimed him as soon as she got to her bedroom.

(End Flashback)

I caught a glimpse of Ashlyn in her first costume when I opened the bathroom door, to see what the cheering was for. She looks gorgeous. I feel like I should be out there cheering her on, but I know no one would appreciate me throwing up on her dress either. I hear Miss. Jen asks where I am, and I run out, stating that I was dry heaving when everyone gave me disgusted looks.

Ashlyn looked at me sympathetically and handed me a big basket of flowers, almost like the ones I got her, and before I could thank her, at that moment I started to sprint back into the bathroom.

No one's POV:

Ashlyn is sitting on a chair in front of the bathroom waiting for her boyfriend to come out of it. She was a little nervous, both for herself and for him. It was Ashlyn's first lead role after all, and his first time being in the show. Who wouldn't be nervous?

The bathroom door opened up, and the girl's boyfriend came out with his blackened tooth and cute smile. The smile he knew reassured her at every moment. "Wow. You look gorgeous." He commented while walking up to her. While the younger girl started blushing he grabbed her non-braced hand and pulled her into the opposite hallway that didn't have her surprise in it.

"Hey, how're you feeling? Big debut and all!" She smiled at him pushing away any doubt she felt before. "Me, not so well, but you. How are you feeling? You're the lead!" He acknowledged, knowing fully well she was anxious over her upcoming performance.

"Well, I think I'm ready. Or at least I'm telling myself I am. Did you like the flowers I got you? I wasn't really sure about the colors, or size or-""-Cupcake," Biggie interrupted,"the flowers are perfect, and so are you."

He pulled her in to give her a hug, kissing her on the crown of her head in the process. Blushing from her neck up, Ashlyn wrapped her arms around his neck and rested her chin in the crook of his neck. With Biggie replicating the same action, "You smell like roses." Ashlyn giggled, "thank you, Kourtney gave me some perfume. She thought it would make it more authentic."
