Three days have gone by since the little outing to the ice cream shop. Wanda can't stop thinking about how familiar Maeve seems. Maybe they ran into each other on the street at some point? Honestly, Wanda can't stop thinking about the girl in general. Wanda musters up some courage, regardless of it being past 9 PM because she just wants to talk to her more.

Just before she is about to knock, Maeve opens the door. Wanda looks at Maeve with a curious smile, "How the hell did you know I was out here with your music so loud?"

Maeve avoids Wanda's question, "Oh, my bad! Were you trying to sleep?"

Wanda takes a deep breath, "I actually wanted to know if we could hang out?"

Maeve internally screams at her question but tries to play it cool, "Oh yeah, come in!" When Wanda walks in, Maeve catches the scent of vanilla, peach, and something quite familiar but she can't put her finger on it.

Wanda takes a seat on the bed and takes in the rest of Maeve's decorations, there aren't many but she smiles at the Black Widow poster hanging on the wall. Wanda lets out a giggle and points to it, "Nice poster, it's even signed!"

Maeve rolled her eyes but couldn't help but laugh, "Nat hung that up a few days ago, she remembered that I love posters and decided she should be my first one." Maeve starts fiddling with her phone trying to find a song, but her emotions have been all over the place and being near Wanda makes her stomach do flips. She wants to impress her with a song, but can't decide. Handing her phone to Wanda, "Wands, do you have a song you want to play? I can't seem to make up my mind on what I want to hear right now." She hands her phone to Wanda, accidentally shocking her. "Why, why must I be like this? She is cute and nice to me, now is not the time to shock her. Literally. I'm so tired of these nerves."

Wanda feels the shock but doesn't pull back right away. It felt strangely warm, it gave her a rush that she had felt before. Wanda finally figured out where she knew Maeve from: the bar. She was the woman on stage.

They locked eyes for a moment. Maeve couldn't take the looking into those green eyes any longer. Once she looks away she makes the realization and her eyes go wide as she thinks about that night. As much as she wanted to say something she didn't want to put her foot in her mouth. Maeve is mentally kicking herself, "She was in the shower and I missed out for a few mimosas. I could have spoken to her sober and I missed it for mimosas. I left a note, saying thanks for a great night, room is all taken care of, maybe we'll run into each other again. Oh god. She is probably going to walk out and tell Nat how horrible I am. I made a fool out of myself without even knowing who it was in front of."

Wanda is slightly amused by Maeve's facial expression and blush creeping up her neck, tries to see if she can push her buttons a bit, just to see if she remembers. Wanda decided December, 1963.

Once Maeve heard the drums kick in she almost instantly relaxed, taking a seat next to Wanda on the bed, "She's staying for a song, maybe I didn't blow it.." She beams up at Wanda who is now standing in front of her to hand the phone back. "What made you put this on? It's one of my favorites!"

The smile on Maeve's face was the boost of confidence Wanda needed to tell her story. She stood up, you know, for dramatic affect, "Natasha and I went out a few nights ago. Usually, I don't want to go, but she needed a wing woman, so there I was in this crowded bar."

Maeve chuckled because she understood how pushy Nat could be.

Wanda continues, "I couldn't tell you how many shots I had taken by the time I noticed this girl on the stage. She was singing Feeling This by Blink-182. She even did a backflip. I guess I somehow managed to get her attention. She had on a leather jacket, ripped jeans, red lipstick and her hair pulled back with one of those clip things. As she was singing, she gave me a wink and I went weak in the knees. She was the most beautiful woman there and wanted my attention? That thought would have never crossed my mind. She somehow convinced me to take shots of tequila with her. Tequila, never a good idea, I always get myself into trouble. Anyways, one thing led to another and she had a room nearby."

Pulling Maeve up from her seat on the bed, smirking at her, Wanda sang along while playfully spinning the girl, "You know I didn't even know her name, but I was never gonna be the same, what a lady, what a night."

Maeve blushes and giggles with Wanda as both of them wonder why they had been so clueless up until now. Maeve finally looks up and catches Wanda blushing as well. They lock eyes, Maeve shockingly doesn't look away, too entranced by Wanda's eyes.

Wanda takes a step closer, testing if Maeve would back down, which she didn't. Wanda moved her hands to Maeve's waist to pull her closer. Maeve felt electricity throughout her body, but it wasn't out of anger or aggression, purely from the excitement of Wanda's bravery. Maeve brings her right hand gently to the back of Wanda's neck to pull her closer. Just as the distance is closing between them Natasha bursts into Maeve's room (she's never been one to knock) causing the two to separate quickly.

Startled Maeve pushes the electricity through to her feet. The current hits her favorite lamp, causing the bulb to explode. Maeve separates herself from Wanda to scold Natasha, "Nat! You seriously have to knock, you know I can barely control whatever the fuck this is!"

Natasha smirks seeing the blush on both of the girls faces, then looks at Maeve, "Kiddo, I'm sorry about the lamp. I'll buy you a new one. Listen I have two days left of my vacation away from the guys, do you want margaritas or not? It's time for a girls movie night so get your butts on the couch!"

Maeve doesn't answer Natasha right away because she feels Wanda's eyes on her still. She smiles at Natasha, "Go set up the blankets. We'll be out in a minute."

Maeve turns back to Wanda, whose eyes are filled with curiosity rather than the fear that Maeve was expecting. She takes a deep breath and lets out a sigh, "So, I guess now you know why Natasha asked me to come here..."

Wanda nods and softens her expression, urging Maeve to continue. Maeve looks at the woman in front of her, using the last ounce of confidence, "I probably should have told you when we first met but I can create electricity at any moment. I have almost zero control over it, hence the lamp exploding..."

Wanda is just looking at Maeve, curious as to what just happened.

With a sigh, Maeve continues her explanation, "I also have crazy hearing. I'm not sure why though, but I can hear everything almost all of the time... I can do mostly everything Nat can do too, but that's because she basically raised me. I kind of have crazy reflexes too... I'm sorry, I know this is a lot to take in. You probably didn't think I was enhanced like yourself, which is fair I don't really come across like I have powers of any kind. I'm sorry I almost hit you with it..."

Wanda takes a step closer to Maeve, who takes a small step back, afraid she is going to hurt her. Wanda reaches for Maeve's hand and gives her a look of understanding, "You don't need to apologize, I know what it's like to lack control. It takes time, I can help you, if you'd like?" Wanda is searching for Maeve's eyes with a soft smile on her face.

Maeve takes Wanda's hand and smiles, "Okay.."

Wanda gives Maeve's hand a squeeze, "I'm still learning too, we can learn together."

Maeve pulls Wanda in for a hug, "I'd really like that. Thank you Wands."
