|| SHORT STORY ||

it was 1:00am, all the avengers had finally finished the movie they were watching, you watched as they slowly stood up, stretching out their backs and legs. you soon realized that Natasha was asleep, with her head rested on your shoulder and her arms snug around your waist, you hadn't know she did this, since you were so invested in the movie, considering it was a true crime story.

Natasha was a deep sleeper, so you knew she wouldn't be getting up anytime soon, so you lightly removed her head from your shoulder, laying her down on the couch for you to get up.

you slowly slid your arms under her, picking her up in your arms. you carried her up to her room, setting her down in her bed, and covering her up with a blanket.

not noticing the still slightly awake woman, you turned around to walk out, but she grabbed your hand pulling you back to her bed.

"stay with me" "please" she spoke in a very sleepy voice, i wasn't quite sure if she knew what she was saying but if she did, she would be mad the next morning that you didn't stay with her. so you climbed into her bed, snuggling your arms around her, being the big spoon.

she pushed her body closer to yours, so close that there was no space between your bodies left. "thank you" she said softly, planting a kiss on your hand. "of course my love" you said, kissing her shoulder, then leaving a small kiss on her forehead.

you nudged your head into the crook of her neck, where you had called asleep that night.
