Her Smile~ Natasha Romanoff x Reader

Natasha was your absolute best friend, you adored her so much. But you liked her, like really liked her. Every time you saw her, your stomach would flutter with hundreds of butterflies and her smile instantly made you smile, she always looked so beautiful.

"hey y/n" Nat spoke, "hey nat" you replied in a lower tone, you looked her up and down, taking in every inch of beauty she had. Her dress hugged her body beautifully and her hair was curled perfectly. "you okay?" she said making your eyes turn to hers, her stare was intimidating but was filled with worry. "perfect" you said with a smile on your face, straightening my posture and taking a sip of my drink, "you look beautiful by the way" you say returning your eyes back to hers, noticing a small blush on her face as you said that. "Thank you, you look beautiful as well" she spoke softly, resting her hand gently on your shoulder.

As time passed, you couldn't keep your eyes away from Natasha, with every guy she spoke to, your jealousy grew. eventually she sat down next to you, resting her head on your shoulder with one arm wrapped around yours. "sup" you say trying to stay cool to keep yourself from blushing, you really liked this woman, a lot. "sup" she says imitating your light new jersey accent, "rude" you say rolling my eyes at her, earning a small chuckle from her.

"hey nat?" you say taking a deep breath, "hmm?" she replies looking up at you. "you know how we've been bestfriends for a long time and we've always done everything together, and i don't want to make this weird or make you feel uncomfortable.." you trail off, stumbling in your words every so often receiving a smile from Natasha, "Well i really like you, and i mean obviously i like you but like i really like you and..." before you could say anything else, she pulls you into a kiss, her lips were soft and everything you had imagined of. her arms snake around your neck as yours seem to find their way to her face, she breaks from the kiss, looking you in the eyes, her eyes were once so cold and brutal were now so vulnerable to you. she smiles, the same smile you craved to see everyday, "i like you too y/n" she says before pulling you back into the kiss.

Everything you had dreamt of, is coming true. you've been waking up in the same bed as the woman you've crushed on for over a year, getting to see and kiss her everyday when she's not on a mission. everything was just...perfect.
