—————————

Killua had been attending Kunugigaoka Junior High School for about 1 year now. Since this was his first year in school, ever. It was..tough making friends. And sure, he could show off his hunters license, use that. But, he didn't want to make friends that way. If Gon were there, he wouldn't use his hunters license to make friends. Well...then again, Gon would probably just hit it off with everyone.

Gon had been traveling the world after the two parted ways. Being the best hunter he could be, or well, the best hunter a 14 year old could be.

But, Killua was tired of all the chaos and fighting. He wanted a normal childhood. To do whatever normal kids would do! Like...play and not worry about money, or weather they've killed their target. And well, he may have had a fucked up life but...Alluka still had a chance at a normal life. She hadn't been corrupted by assassin training, or traumatized by her best friend almost dying.

But, best not to dwell on such things. Right now Killua has to focus on a daring challenge, one worse than the chimaera ants, the most dangerous foe he's ever faced.

Midterm exams.

——

It was like some giant monsters we're attacking, it was so overwhelming that Killua's test papers ended covered in scribbles. The teacher, obviously, failed him. And so, with 1 whole year of failed marks...

Killua was booted to E-Class.

There were lots of rumors about E-Class. A bunch of freaks. Kids were scared of E-Class. Stories of their deadly looks, and...hot teachers? We're tossed around the school here and there.

Killua wasn't scared of E-Class, but it would definitely hurt his social status. Fortunately, Killua didn't even have a social life to begin with! He was cool, sure. Cunning and funny, of course! But he never truly found his clique. Nothing, none could compare to the fun him and Gon had.

He missed Gon, so so much. And letters just dont't quite fill the hole in his heart.

Killua climbed up the mountain, it wasn't that challenging. For him at least, for any other person it probably would be quite a challenge.

And there it was.

A run-down, old building. The E-Class building.

It was certainly clear that the school didn't care for E-Class. The wood was rotting, and windows were filthy. The only thing that looked decent was a small flower garden in the front of the class. 'Perhaps made by the student?' Killua thought.

He knew he was arriving un-announced, but by the rumors he was told, E-Class simply jokes around all day. So they couldn't possibly be doing something important!

Even so, his teacher had told him the day before " refuse to teach you and have your grades ruin the class average. Tomorrow you must go to E-Class. I do not care if you..blah blah blah" something along the lines of that. That teacher would probably get fired as he didn't even bother to inform the principal.

Killua heard some sort of CRASH noise. 'Probably E-Class messing around' he thought. Killua continued to walk by, as he walked by the classroom, he could hear chatter. But not the type that was unproductive.

He was curious, and simply started at the door. 'E-Class? Learning?' The rumors that were planted in his brain were clashing with his new discovery.

"And what does this equal?" He heard a voice, most likely the teachers, ask. "Oh cmon' Koro-sensei! I'm not good at math" a feminine voice complained.

'Koro-sensei? That sounds like the word for unkillable?' Killua was truly fascinated.

"Ahem"

Someone coughed. Killua looked in front of him to see a tall slender man. He had black spiky hair and a stern look on his face. At the same time, he felt a gust of winds rush past him, along with a flash of yellow. "H-hello, I'm Killua, Killua...uhm...māo!" He said quickly, remembering his made-up last name.

'cat' was an odd last name, but Alluka came up with it. "You are part-cat anyways" she would always say. "But that means you're part cat too!" He would counter.

Needless to say, the conversation ends after that.

The man looked at Killua suspiciously, then directed Killua to his office. "Oh, i have an email from our old teacher." He said, his voice was boring yet held some director-like tone in it. Killua waited patiently as the man checked through his files and papers. "Very well" he sighed. "I'm Mr. Karasuma" he extended his hand, and Killua shook it. He was still very uneven about Mr. karasuma. Something about him...it was like he had some high authority.

"I'll brief you on the situation" he stated.

And so, Killua was given his first assignment.

Assassinate his teacher before graduation.
