It was the start of a new term the only difference was that little Aria was joining this year, and she was ecstatic. She wasn't excited about school- no no no, she was excited about being able to wonder around freely and not having to hide in the shadows. In her mind it was her first step into freedom and she'd be damed if she didn't marvel in it whilst she can.

Looking into the mirror she examined herself, she was wearing the standard uniform which she had tailored exactly to her side via magic- a perk of living in the castle was that she could use magic whenever she wanted despite being underage. Despite it being school uniform she thought she looked quite good, it brought out her curves which she had just recently developed (she was a late bloomer).

The young witch was deep in thought while examining her body, she knew she didn't want to make any connections with people however she couldn't help but fantasise about maybe having a significant other.

Huffing the girl but on her robe which completely obliterated her curves and headed towards the door. Despite the girl now starting school she still got to keep her old room, which she liked as it was her own tower really.

As she headed down the spiral staircase she heard a loud slam, knowing that it was her grandfather she slowed down her pace.

"Aria I hope you know that if you should misbehave that shall be great consequences" he said sternly lifting a brow as she reached the floor.

"Yes Grandfather", she quivered under his stabbing gaze.

"And if you should go near 'The boy who lived', I would be concerned for yourself', and with that he spun around and left with much haste.

The young witch let out a breathe, what a year this is going to be she thought.

Entering the great hall was something she thought she'd never be doing, it felt like a dream. Trying her best she walked in like it was normal for her to do so however that was quite hard as everyone was staring at her- well not everyone just a select few who had already sat down and had noticed the girl who they had probably not seen before. Anxiety was kicking in for the girl but she knew she had to push through it. It'll be over soon she kept saying in her head.
As she sat down at Ravenclaw table two red heads were discussing the new witch.

"Never seen her before Freddie", the boy said turning to his brother.

"Neither, quite a pretty little thing though, almost like a baby deer", the other replied with a smirk, to which they both cackled.

Aria whilst this was happening pulled out a book to distract herself- this may have been an odd thing to do however it wasn't uncommon for Ravenclaws.

She very grateful basically everyone in her house hadn't noticed her, and even if they did they just brushed her off and ignored her existence; those who did however were in different houses. The witch could tell who a few of them were from hearing over her book every so often.

A group of male Hufflepuffs had, she knew they were apart off the quidditch team as she had seen them last year whilst in the shadows. Cedric Diggory was amongst the group, he was the captain, as well as Zacharias Smith and Ethan Humberstone who she believed was the seeker of the team. They kept looking over every so often which meant they were talking about her.

Luckily for her the Slytherins were too far away to notice her, however the Gryffindors were, two groups had taken interest, one was an older group who she believed were also apart of the quidditch team- Oliver Wood was amongst the bunch with the two famous twins, she didn't recognise the other three, and she didn't know if that was a good thing or a bad thing.
The other group of Gryffindors were around her age and much to her look the golden trio were within that group. Great she thought, just her luck!

As the dinner went on less eyes were burning into her skull, and due to this the teen felt more at ease two reasons; 1. She didn't feel as self conscious due to the constant staring and 2. It meant they might forget about her and leave her be which would be very useful to the girl as she wanted to stay invisible until she could get away from the wretched castle.

Her grandfather had started his 'welcome back' speech but she didn't really pay attention. Mainly due the fact that everything that came out of his mouth was a load of shit. As it was coming to end she felt relief flood her body- she could finally go to bed!

Once the students had started clapping they started to stand up and make their way out, to which she followed. Things got more complicated when she got out the doors though as she had to go the way nobody went as she had a private tower.
Rushing through the crowd she tried to make herself as small as possible to avoid stares, and as she rushed down the empty corridor to the left of the heaps of body she could feel some eyes on the back of her head. Fuck.

Once she had rounded the corner two red head started to discuss the mysterious girl. They felt drown to her, maybe it was her beauty, or maybe it was unknown- but they both knew that they had to find out.

"You thinking what i'm thinking Georgie?"

"Absolutely" the other replied with a sinister smirk.
