sora slid down the stair railing, barely making a noise. the way her steps were so quiet would make you think she was walking on clouds, even with those heavy boots. it's almost as if she's done something like this before.. she adjusted the googles that were slipping on her nose and made her way through the dark to find the staircase to the basement.

"moon, tell everybody to come to the first floor now."

📞 "you got it, boss!"

she already knew kevin was pointing finger guns at his monitor. for such a serious situation, it's funny how he can still be as playful as ever.

"yo, midas. what's with this penguin plushie?" sunwoo stared at the blue penguin suspiciously.

haknyeon shrugged his shoulders and let out a sound of confusion. "it's probably some sort of dangerous object at least.."

he lifted up the plushie and examined all of its sides. right on the bottom, there was a bright red timer. "bingo. it's a bomb"

"a wHAT? HOW ARE YOU GUYS SO CALM ABOUT THIS?"

"we all came mentally prepared, unlike YOU."

"i should've listened to bae, dang it."

"this is what happens when you're stubborn, stop learning from chanhee."

"hey i'm telling him you said that!"

📞 "haknyeon, bring both of your asses to the first floor staircase. sora's got something to say."

sora lit up a matchstick and placed the fire on the candle. it was enough light for everybody to be able to see each other, since turning on light would just point out their location.

"right. we're all here? one, two, three, four.. wait, where's changmin?"

"um.. that guy's fearless. he might've went to the basement already." jacob shrugged and stole the bread sunwoo had pulled out from absolutely nowhere. he winced quietly, but soon whipped out another piece of bread.

"so we're just going to ditch our code names-" chanhee covered sunwoo's mouth.

sora thought for a moment. "we're going down."
