As minutes passed by, you worked relatively hard; learning new things and what to do when it came to different scenarios, your heart softening when your professor flicked through slides and showed what certain people had dealt with. You would've felt more empathetic towards the people in said presentation too - if you hadn't spotted two certain figures watching you from outside. A smile slid across your face as they distracted you from your lesson - both of staring at you from where you'd first said goodbye. Rolling your eyes, you blew them each a kindhearted kiss and attempted to shift your attention back towards the teacher, now finding it rather difficult.

Eventually your class ended, so you tucked your textbooks into your bag and flung it over your shoulder; standing up a second later in order to leave. "Hey, (Y/n), wait up!" A familiar voice called out, causing you to turn around and recognise the person speaking.

"Oh hey there, Amber!" You greeted in return, trying to sound as friendly as possible and growing relieved when it worked. "What's going on?"

"Ah, nothing much...Cadence, Laura and I were just wondering if you wanted to hang out together sometime soon, that's all." Amber timidly replied, toying with a strand of her hair and trying not to set you off.

Still, you knew why.
"-Or do you always have to go poking your nose around in other people's business?"
"Hey! All she wanted to do was make sure you weren't dealing with something serious!"
"Poke my nose around in other people's business...?"
"Yeah! Are you that full of yourself that you didn't even recognise it?"

"Aww, I would love to." You warmly responded, deciding that - for once - you were going to hang out with them instead. "Thank you for inviting me in the first place."

"I mean, if you've got other plans, that's totally fine! I wouldn't want to sound pushy or anything." She hurriedly spoke - plainly worried about setting you off a second time.

"Believe me, you don't sound pushy." You reassured her in a soothing tone, giving Amber a gentle hug and trying to comfort her. "Seriously, I was the one acting like a mega-bitch that day."

Amber laughed lightly at your comment, your words clearly brightening up the previous tension between you two. "Well, I'm glad I don't sound pushy to you anymore at least."

"Really, you don't." You repeated kindly, feeling happy when she reciprocated said hug and hugged back. "In fact, I'd be delighted to spend time with you guys. It feels like forever since we last hung out together, y'know?"

"I know, right?" Amber happily agreed, definitely pleased by your positive reaction. "Want me to call-slash-text you the details?"

"Sure." You smiled with a calm expression, finding her excitement funny as she gave your hug another soft squeeze before letting go. "See you tomorrow then, Amber!"

"See you tomorrow, (Y/n)!" She spoke cheerfully, giving you an enthusiastic wave after you gave the three of them a goodbye wave first.

Then, once you'd exited the classroom door and waded through the groups of other students, you left the building and headed straight to where the couple of killers were waiting for you; their devotion towards you becoming more and more obvious. So much so that you were used to Michael hauling you into an overly obsessive hug and hiding his pale-masked face atop your hair. Of course. With an amused shake of your head, you wrapped your arms around him in response and shot him a softhearted smile - his tender actions now seeming considerably adoring and affectionate. Despite that though, had both of them been standing there? Waiting for your return?
