Zero stormed out of his classroom and swung his backpack over his left shoulder. Zero turned his gaze towards the window, such a deep blue sky.

Zero made his way down the hallway but stopped in his tracks as his eye connected with yellow ones.

"Amu" Zero whispered to himself.

Zero heard the classroom door slide open. "Kiryu-san!" an aggressive voice called out. Zero ran towards Amu, grabbing her forearm standing her up in one motion. "Run" Zero instructed, but he didn't give her an option he led her upstairs. After several flights of stairs and a corridor, they made it up on top of the school's roof. Zero let go of Amu's arm and apologized for acting out so suddenly. Amu however was just trying to catch her breath and thoughts all at the same time. Both of them stood on the roof in complete silence. Amu's thoughts were so cloudly and Zero's mouth was slightly ajar but still could not make any words out. Amu finally looked up at Zero, their eyes meeting made her feel slightly uncomfortable. The lavender eyes she's been looking into these past couple of months were so different compared to now.

"Zero-" "Amu-" they interjected. Zero looked up at the sky once more to clear his thoughts. But once he faced down he met with Amu's glossy gaze. "I'm sorry" "That's not good enough." Amu took her turn to look up at the sky facing away from Zero. "I am not who you think I am. I'm a bad person Amu." Amu switched glances "So this is my fault?!" She yelled placing her fist on Zero's abdomen. "No, I should've never asked you out. I should've never let you get attached to me. I was trying to replace the feeling I had with someone else with you." Amu just couldn't hold it in any longer. She cried. She cried so hard that she repeatedly hit Zero's abdomen thinking somehow that would make her feel any better. Zero wrestled with Amu's arms as she resisted him even touching her until Zero embraced her into him.

"Amu, I know you still love him."

Amu knew deep down that all these emotions were coming from the fact that she still loved Ikuto. "Yes I do, but-" Amu pried herself off of Zero's embrace. "I also love you," she said tears streaming down her face. Amu grabbed Zero's tie inching his face closer to hers. She didn't hesitate to collide her lips with his. Zero placed his arms around her torso bringing her closer to him. Why? Amu thought to herself, why does it have to be this way. Both of them stayed on the roof embracing each other, kissing each other until the bell rang. Amu let go of Zero, "I'm not staying here." "What?" Amu questioned. "I'm going to the next town over," Zero said resting his arms against the railing near the edge of the roof. "You're going with her, aren't you?" Amu knew his answer. She had to let him go. Amu knew that in order for her to ever fully be happy she has to let go of everything and heal from her past. "I'm so sorry," Zero said once again placing a gentle kiss on her forehead. "Thank you, you healed my wounds when no one else could. I love you. Goodbye Amu Hinamori". Zero grabbed his bag off the floor and disappeared.

"Marisol-san!" the teacher raised her hand and motioned her student to come hither. "Yes?" Marisol asked grabbing her school bag along while she made her way towards her teacher. "Can you please take these class workbooks to the teacher's administration office? The class representative didn't come to school today" Marisol couldn't say no, but she was slightly worried considering the pile of workbooks was taller than she was. The teacher gathered all her items and haphazardly shoved them into her briefcase. "Okay, I leave it to you!" She grabbed her coffee cup and took a giant sip before exiting the classroom. Marisol sighed.

She managed to grab all the class workbooks and open the door. Miraculously, she thought to herself. The pile of class workbooks was a monument, tall and heavy. Her tiny self hobbled across the hallway and it immediately daunted her. Where's the administrative office? Marisol's hands began to sweat and her grip on the workbooks also began to slip. Just a little longer Marisol thought, what's the worst that can happen. I drop all the books and I have picked them all up. "Aw," Marisol groaned out loud. Suddenly a pair of strong hands with black painted fingernails made contact with hers. All the weight of the books subdued as the male student lifted the pile of workbooks from her arms. The male student had dark raven hair, bright red eyes, and white pale skin. "I got it from here" is all he said and walked down the hallway.
For once a boy at this school managed to make her blush.

Marisol made her way back down the hallway just thinking over the series of events that just occurred. She didn't even know this student's name, how could she thank him properly? Her thoughts escaped her as she noticed a pink-haired girl making her way towards the stairs. "Amu!" Marisol called out. Amu noticed her and waved. Marisol ran up towards her and asked her about the entire Zero situation. Amu had completely forgotten that the only reason why she even knew about the occurrence was because of her.  Amu bowed in front of Marisol, smiled at her, and placed her hand on the railing. "Thank you," Amu said politely and walked down the steps disappearing from Marisol's sight.

Rima nervously was fidgeting with a pencil during lunch. Nagi happened to notice her blonde girlfriend as he made his way past a classroom. He had a bad feeling in his stomach, knowing Rima since middle school he knew how anxious she can be at times. Nagi walked into the classroom heading straight towards Rima. Without even saying a word he placed his hand on the side of her head and pressed it against his abdomen, and wrapped his other arm around her shoulder. Rima relaxed into him knowing exactly this is what she needed. "Can I ask what seems to be bothering you?" he asked concerningly. Rima nodded, so Nagi release his embrace and sat on the desk nearest her. Nagi was extremely tall, so he placed his hands in his pockets and bent over to meet Rima's gaze. "Okay, I am all ears". Rima looked at him and placed a gentle kiss on his lips before saying anything. Nagi's lip curved up "What was that for?" "For caring" Rima smiled as her cheeks began to become slightly pink. After that, Rima began to discuss with him everything that happened, last night with Yaya, this morning with Amu, and the new student. "So, why don't you just go and apologized to her?" Nagi reassured. "I can't just go and apologize I don't think Amu wants to talk to me ever again." "You really think Amu is like that?" Nagi sighed, "You remember when I told her I was really Nadeshiko and she wasn't actually my twin sister? Amu was of course a little upset, who wouldn't be I was lying to her, but eventually, she realized that our friendship was more important and so she forgave me. Please just go and talk to her. I truly believe right now is when she will be needing you the most. I hope you realize that, Rima". Rima didn't say anything. She knew her boyfriend was right, but deep down she was so scared to face the reality of Amu not wanting to be her friend after all of this.

Lunch was over so everyone began to go to their classes once again. Rima and Nagi saying their goodbyes, and also heading back to class. Their guardian charas interjecting sometimes here and there knowing about the whole drama with their owners but knowing it wasn't the right time to step in.

Nagi walked rather cautiously around the hallway. Nagi was extremely observant, if he could find Amu maybe he could talk things out with her. "Yo!" Kukai pulled Nagi's long ponytail, Nagi annoyed pulled Kukai into the quickest headlock. "Nagi-" Kukai struggled out, "I can't breathe" Nagi let him go and shoved him laughing, laughing quite hard. "Just because you're in dance and in wrestling doesn't mean you're stronger than me" Kukai said pointing a finger while bending over trying to catch his breath. "Kukai, have you seen Amu?" Nagi asked curiously as he kept walking. Kukai's facial expression relaxed as he thought of the events that occurred this morning in his home room. "Yea actually about that."
-
Nagi and Kukai sat on a wooden bench right outside the boys locker room. "He actually punch Shiki?" Nagi asked "Yea, I mean I would have done the same he was talking about Amu in such a horrible way. If he didn't I would've had to but I'm glad it was him and not me" Kukai shyly smiled scratching his neck. "Amu's mad at Rima and Yaya-chan". Nagi looked down to the grassy field his feet were on. This grass needed a lawn mower to run across it. Kukai relaxed his head onto his intertwined palms relaxing into the bench even more.
"Drama like this can't end their friendship" Kukai replied confidently. "I think we all need a council meeting." Nagi chuckled "We haven't had a council meeting since we were all 12" but somehow Nagi couldn't argue that's probably what they all needed most. "We need to find Amu".
