"Okay class, please settle down!" the clumsy teacher spoke up. "Let's see here," the teacher said looking over the class list, his glasses on the tip of his nose. "Um, Mr.Kiryu san!". Dazed Zero looked up. "Raise your hand please, Kiryu-san" Zero slowly began to raise his hand but Kukai grabs his elbow and shot his hand right up causing some classmates to giggle. It's strange to get a foreign exchange student in the middle of the school year, Zero thought. As if she peeked into his thoughts Marisol smirked at him.

"Okay Guterra-san, may you please sit behind Kiryu-san? Let's get this show on the road shall we".

Kukai raised a brow at Zero "Called dibs I see" he snickered. Zero just smirked at him. Marisol made her way to her desk as all eyes followed. Marisol took out her pen and paper and class started to begin.

Daichi came out of his egg, "Yo Kukai!".

Kukai got out of his relaxed state into a startled state. "Get back in your egg, you know you're not supposed to come out during class time" Kukai whispered. "But Kukai, I sense another guardian character here. I feel another egg". Kukai concerned look around the room. "But who could it be?"

Zero looked over at Kukai who seemingly was just having a conversation with himself. Zero rolled his eyes and put his attention back on the teacher.

"I think it's the ne-" "Souma-san!" Kukai now more on edge then he was looked up. "Can you please answer this question to the class, since you've been paying so much attention". Kukai shoved Daichi back into his egg and scratched his head.

Amu sighed as she watched Yaya help Rima stretch her back. Amu had her back leaned against a fence. She leaned her head back as well, looking right at the sky. She started to focus on the clouds and how slowly they moved against the sky.

"There is so much commotion over this new girl" Rima spat as she reached for her toes. "Maybe she's nice!" Yaya intervened.
"What do you think Amu?" Yaya questioned, Amu still dazed didn't respond.
Yaya and Rima both looked at each other in confusion. "Amu and Zero got in a fight ~desu!" Su spilled out, "Su!" Ran and Miki both said in sync.
"What? What happened Amu-chi?" Yaya asked.
Amu groaned, finally paying attention to their conversation. "It's nothing really. Everything is fine".
Rima didn't look convinced.  "Might this have to do with the whole Ikut-" " No!" Amu interjected. "Everything is fine guys." Amu grabbed her gym bag off the ground and headed back towards the locker rooms. "Su! This was all your fault!" Miki shouted. The 4 little charas ran after their owner. Both Yaya and Rima were left to themselves on the field.

Amu kept her head down, trying not to show her tears to anyone who happened to pass by. Without paying to much attention in front of her she bumped into someone on the way to the locker room. "Gomen!" She looked up and met face to face with bright red eyes.
"I should start charging you for bumping into me" Sebastian, implied in a joking manner. Sebastian was in his gym clothes, without his platform boots and scary jacket he almost looked like a normal kid.
"Are you alright?" He continued to question.
Amu caught off guard, she whipped her tears away and fanned her face. "Oh, I'm fine, allergies! That's why I'm leaving class a bit early". Sebastian, lower his face closer to Amu's. His lips almost grazing her left ear and in the softest voice, his said. "Don't let him fool you."
Amu's face heated up in seconds. She Inhaled deeply as Sebastian made his way to the field.

"Okay, class dismissed!" The teacher began to gather his things as the students quickly cleared the room.
"Zero, let's hurry before all the chocolate milk is taken," Kukai said hurried to get to the lunchroom. Zero sighed realizing it was time to face Amu. He didn't even know if he should apologize for the way he was acting. "Yea, I'll meet you there okay? I have some things to pick up at the library" Zero said. Kukai nodded and headed to the lunchroom along with some other students. Marisol was overwhelmed by the number of students coming up to her after class, nevertheless, she was kind to each and every student. "Let's go get lunch together?" "Sure" Marisol complied and followed some students out to the lunchroom.

~
Amu wondered the halls, avoiding lunch at all costs.

"Don't let him fool you"

Who was he referring too? Ikuto? Zero? Tadase?

She trotted the halls not knowing where to go, but she finally stopped. The person she was avoiding all day standing right in front of her. Zero.

Amu waited for him to react but Zero just stared right through her. She scoffed and wanted to storm off before Zero grabbed her by the arm.
"Amu I'm sorry."
"..."
"I shouldn't have reacted that way, I think I was just jealous of the situation."
Amu yanked her arm back facing him. "I've tried to forget him," Amu said her voice cracking.
"Than you came along and made everything better, please don't ruin this" Amu's tears started to stream down her face.
Zero didn't hesitate to hug Amu as hard as he could.
"I didn't mean to make you this upset," Zero whispered, tangling his fingers into her pink locks.
Amu pushed him against the wall, "I love you."
Zero without hesitation replied, "I love you too."
But after seconds Zero replied, he didn't fully believe it himself and Amu didn't either.

~
Amu and Zero walked hand in hand silently to her home. Once they passed the crosswalk Amu stopped in her tracks. "H-How come you've never invited me over?" Amu asked.
Zero caught off guard replied with "My parents don't let me have people over".
"Oh"
They continued to walk, not speaking another word until Amu was at her front doorstep. Amu didn't bother asking and went right for a kiss. Amu wrapped her arms around Zero fulling embracing him. Zero finally giving in to it wrapped his arms around her as well.
"I'll see you tomorrow" and with that Zero was gone.

Amu opened the door to her house slowly, "I'm home!" she yelled and it looked like the only person that was home was her sister. Amu looked down at the scattered elementary school shoes and book bag spilled on the floor. She groaned and picked up Ami's things and put them nicely next to the stairs.

"Ami!"

A younger orange-haired girl walked out of the kitchen with an apron on and a spatula in hand. "Mom and Dad are working late so it'll be just us for dinner," Ami sang. Amu sighed, still thinking about the situation at hand.

"Amu!" "Yes?" Amu snapped back from her thoughts, "Don't just stand there, this curry isn't going to cook itself." Ami handed her an apron and skipped back into the kitchen.

It was pretty silent, Ami sat across Amu on her phone giggling. "Ami, you know you're not supposed to use your cellphone at the dinner table."

Ami peered over, "C' mon Amu, Mom, and Dad aren't home. I won't tell if you don't" She hinted at Amu.

"I don't even wanna look at my phone right now" Amu sighed. Ami noticed Amu's changed behavior.

"What's wrong? Did you and Zero break up?" Ami asked, and Amu wanted to feel okay, she wanted to pretend and fool herself into thinking everything was fine but she couldn't.

"No, we didn't. We just got into an argument"

"Seems like a really bad one, do tell" Ami smirked.

Amu scoffed, "This isn't the time for that Ami." Ami put her phone down, and reached across the table, placing her hand on top of Amus. "When Ikuto left, he really hurt you, badly. You always cried. You're with Zero and I finally got to see my big sister smile. Don't let what Ikuto did to you in the past affect your future with Zero."  Ami was extremely smart and observed everything. Ami was the top of her class, always coming home with something to show off their parents. She was always the sister to be jealous of and of course, Amu always got compared to her.

They both always fought, but she was always there when Amu needed her most. Amu caught the tear from almost falling onto her face. "Can you clean the dishes? I did them yesterday," Amu laughed and nodded.
