[Malee's Pov]

I opened one of the drawers on the ground and a nome came running out, I was spooked for a bit before I walked up to the nome and hugged them as I hummed "I'll name you..Nina!" I said, Seven looked at me strangely as I handed Nina to Seven and he threw them on the table. Nina grabbed the ledge of the table and pulled herself up before helping Milly push the box off the table. They pushed the table off and We hopped onto it before helping the nome that was stuck in the cage. I grabbed the bars of the cage and pulled it, it busted open as I feel back on my butt and stood up. The nome ran near a box, Seven walked up to it and hugged it "let's name them, Gretel" I say, Seven sighed "No more naming nomes after this" He said, I frowned a bit "But why not? They're just so cute and-"  I was cut off by Seven hopping off the table "No Malee" He said as Gretel and me hopped down. I watched as Seven walked towards the door, I was about to argue with Seven but I held my head as it started to hurt. I grunted a bit before Milly, Nina, and Gretel tugged at my coat. I looked at them and smiled "I'm okay.." I say but I was lying "Can I get some help?" Seven asked, me and the nomes walked up to the door before all five of us pushed the door open and went up some stairs. We entered a room filled with coal with a chair near an opened door, we walked towards the door but Seven climbed the chair and jumped up. He grabbed the lever above as he did, a door opened above us and dropped a piece of coal, I walked over and picked up the coal before we entered the next room. There was another nome and it was pointing at a lever, Seven climbed up to the lever and pulled it, it opened a furnace. I raised an eyebrow as Milly took the coal out of my hands and put it in the furnace, the other nomes did the same. They grabbed some coal and put it in the furnace, I frowned a bit but didn't say anything before Seven grabbed my hand and we walked towards a ladder. Seven let my hand go ad we climbed up the ladder, we walked to another one and climbed up it. Seven was leading the way as we went up more stairs and now were in a room filled with stuff.

[No one's pov]

Seven and Malee looked around before Seven stepped on a broken floorboard, he looked at it before jumping. After a few jumps, the floorboard broke and Seven fell in. Malee panicked and ran to the hole in the floor "Seven?!" She said as she saw him laying on the ground before she looked at the door, the janitor opened the door and headed to a room. Malee stared before dropping down to seven. Just as Seven was getting up, Malee landed on him. Seven grunted as Malee quietly chuckled "Sorry" She said as she got off him, she held a hand out to help him but he didn't grab it and just stood up on his own "let's just keep going" Seven said before continuing forward towards the room the janitor was in. Malee looked at him before putting her hood over her head and followed Seven. They saw a hole in the floorboard and hopped up, they grabbed the ledge and pulled themselves up. They saw the Janitor and stayed on the wrapping on the floor, they climbed onto a box and used it to jump another more wrappings. They crouched through a crawl hole and entered the next room. Seven picked up Malee and sat her beside the crank "stay" he said and climbed onto a table before jumping, grabbing a lever and it did something. Seven let go and crawled through another crawl space.

[Malee's pov]

I feel like I'm doing something wrong, I'm not sure if Seven is upset with me or not and it's confusing. Not to mention my head hurts so much, I sighed before hearing a noise and Seven came running, I stood up and started turning the crank. The janitor wasn't coming and that's good, I turned the crank until it was at it's limit and we dropped down the hatch, sliding down another gutter and into a room.

Seven had opened the door and ran back to help us push the cart through the doorway, we were in another room. We kept pushing the cart until I noticed the tracks went downhill towards a boarded up door "Let go of the cart" I say, we stopped pushing the cart and it went down towards the door. The cart broke the door as it went off the tracks. We went into the next room and the nomes stood on the hatch, we climbed out of the room and to the room where the furnace was. I waited on the top as Seven climbed down and went to the lever that opened the hatch. I heard a few thuds underneath, Seven must have opened the hatch.. As I waited I felt hands on my shoulders, I looked down "You know..Seven's in danger..So are your two other friends" Shadow Malee said, I got away from her but as I did, I tripped and fell on my butt. I stare up at her as she grinned at me with those purple eyes, she held a hand out to me "Ya know..You could save them" She said before we both heard Seven, Shadow Malee grinned even more as I sweated before disappearing inside me. I grunted in pain as I held my head, I pulled at my hair. It felt like someone was pounding on my skull, I noticed a few black flurries around me before they faded away. I stopped holding my head and stood up before looking at my hands, I felt no emotion. I looked at Seven who looked at me and smiled, I grinned at him. Seven sweated a bit before we headed down the ladder and went to the left. We entered a room filled with coal  as my grin went away, Seven noticed two nomes stuck and he went to go help them. He pulled the nomes out and hugged one, I went over to one and hugged it. I put it down and it quickly ran from me and hid behind seven. I just stared before Seven took the nomes to the furnace. I stayed near the ladder and waited for him to come back, I stared at the coal 'So Six and Mono are real and here...this should be interesting' I thought to myself before hearing Seven come back, he hugged me before kissing my forehead "Hey about earlier when you fell on me, if I hurt you, I didn't mean to. I just..I just want to protect you, okay? It's lonely and I don't know what I'll do without you.." Seven muttered, I stared before feeling my cheeks heat up a bit "it's okay, Seven" I say, I guess I do have some emotion left. I smiled before we climbed the ladder and landed into a room, we looked around before Seven walked up to a lever and hopped up. He pulled the lever down, the power started flickering before blowing a fuse. Seven dropped down as we looked at the light sources "it looks like one is dull and the other one is still working" I say, Seven nodded before picking up the working light source and putting it in one of the sockets. We went underneath a door that was opened enough for us to get through and looked around
