Nex's pov:
"She's so annoying bro look at her," I said, nodding over at a girl surrounded by a group.
"Yeah. She's always surrounded by her little cult. They think she's hot shit," my friend Aaron said.
Aaron and I had been friends since the beginning of highschool. We were now both seniors and I don't remember ever truly disagreeing with him and vice versa.
We were both very similar. Had the same sense of humor, and we even came out to each other at the same time. Him being gay and me, lesbian.
It was the end of the school day and everyone was gathering their things and leaving. Except for Scarlett Gray and the snakes she had for friends.
"I mean I get it she's hot," I stated. She had a beautiful physique and beautiful gray eyes. Fair skin and wavy, red hair. Pretty much every basic bitch in the school wanted to be her.
"But like she's a literal vulture. I mean have you seen the way she looks at us? Like we're below her?" I continued.
"For sure. Like I know she's like rich and like we're not but yeesh she's really not all that," Aaron said rolling his eyes, almost disgusted.
Scarlett and her group walked past us at our spot beside the lockers. She glanced at me and snickered. Who the fuck did she think she was snickering at.
She continued to walk away and I flipped her off. Apparently she caught it and gave me the dirtiest look I've ever seen in my life.
"OH my god. Did you just flip Scarlett off?!" He whisper yelled.
"Yeah she was pissing me off. The fuck does she think I am? A circus freak?"
"Honestly well deserved on her part. Let's get out of here though I'm hungry."
"Same," I said. We walked out of the school and ended up going to a Wendy's drive thru. Perks of having a friend with a car.
Scarlett's pov:
"Did she just flip me off?" I asked one of my friend's Olivia once outside of the school.
"I wasn't looking but like she probably did. Honestly her and her weird friend are probably just jealous," Olivia said. Not once had she looked up from her phone while speaking to me. Typical.
"Jeaolus? Of what?"
"That we actually have money and our parents like us," she said. "I heard that the dyke uh what's her name...Nex, she lives with her aunt because her mom was like a druggie or sumthin."
"That explains why she looks angry all the time," chimed in Jamie, another one of the girls from my friend group.
"Yeah," I said, chuckling in agreement. "Maybe she's just a bitch naturally."
After a while of bullshitting and gossiping with my group, we all dispersed into our respective cars and drove off.
My house wasn't far from the school so it didn't take long to get there. A matter of fact, I could probably walk to school but why get all sweaty in my nice outfits when I have an air conditioned car.
My house was large to say the least. It had a big in ground pool in the back yard but still had space for green grass.
"Hey mom, hi dad," I shouted from the kitchen. I took off my shoes and back pack before walking further into my house.
I received no response from anyone except for my barking dog Charlie.
"Well hello Charlie! I missed you bud," I greeted in a slight baby voice as I massaged his fluffy head.
