i wake up at 7:00 am to my mother screaming my name.
"SIMONE" my mother yells.
"ughhh, i'm awake mom" i groan
" get up. you can't be late." she demands from downstairs.
" i have an hour before school starts i'm pretty sure i'm on the right track" i say under my breath.
i slip on a casual crop top, some jeans, and some basic white shoes, then i head downstairs.
"good morning dad" i say in a low tone putting 3 frozen waffles in the toaster.
"good morning simone" he says with a smile.
" did you study for you algebra test last night?" my mother ask eyeing me down.
"yes mom" i saw as my waffles pop out of the toaster and i slide them onto my plate"
" i gotta go now, don't wanna be late, right?" i say in a sarcastic tone to my mom.
" love you " says my dad raising his voice to make sure i hear him.
"love you too, byeee"
