Sitting down on the train, you looked outside to see the rainy streets of Brighton. Headed to London for the night to get out of town, explore a little bit.

You had only just moved here, fresh out of school, and fresh from America. One little breakdown of having to deal with healthcare bills and you decided to move to Brighton. Now you had only been in your apartment for a few days, but why not visit London? Your friends back home would praise you for the pictures you'd take.

It was about 9 pm, the windows were crystally with raindrops, you leaned your head on the window sill and were already falling asleep. Eyelids fluttering shut, the sound of doors sliding open and a murmur of people coming in and out. The murmur grew faint, muffled, as you fell further asleep.

Behind your closed eyes, glowing blotches danced around the pitch-black curtain. They danced brighter when you heard a group of people, excitedly laughing and chatting, sounding like they sat in the seats next to you. You couldn't help but pull yourself back into consciousness and open your eyes to look.

The train had jerked forward and started moving, someone who had been standing fell backwards into the seat directly next to yours. You turned to look, and they caught your gaze, a pair of sparkly brown eyes behind round glasses. Their gaze was soft, a boy, you realized, he had a caring smile that surfaced when he caught himself keeping his stare in line with yours.

"Sorry about that," he giggled under his breath, he stood up and sat down with his lot.

You couldn't stop looking at him, even after he turned away. The way that his cheeks curled up when he laughed with his friends intrigued you. After a moment, you forced your eyes away and back to the window.

"Y/N, stop staring you idiot," You said to yourself.

You chewed your nails a bit, wanting so badly to glue your stare back at him. Finally, you looked back, only to catch his gaze once again.

He was staring...

At you.

It was a soft stare, one of admiration and interest. And you couldn't take your eyes away this time. His cheeks were a slight pink, and he ever so handsomely smiled at you.

He's so pretty... and for what?
