Scott had met Eston like he had met all of the others- through Chris McClean. To be exact, the fourth season of the reality show 'Total Drama.'
Scott had played hard and fast, a habit of mischief helping him along. Eston's tactics were more of a criticism of the show, using his orientation to blackmail Chris into letting him stay longer than he should have.

With Eston's extended time on air, he began a friendship with Dawn, who he had turned against, Sam, and Scott, whom he allied with. As long as he was still in the competition they were true allies.

It had been a few months since the fourth season finished and it was set to premiere soon. Scott, not really having friends back home, invited some contestants to watch the debut with him.

Eston agreed, mainly because he wasn't close with anyone else from the cast, besides maybe Brick. He knew most of the cast were going to Chris's to kick off the new season but he hadn't heard from Scott in a while.

Scott turned off his phone and sighed. Great going genius, you got him over here expecting a premiere party in your shithole apartment.

The ginger groaned as stroked his hands down his face, covering it briefly before pulling them down, stretching his skin slightly in annoyance.

Eston began the long drive as the sky shone orange with the sunset. Green eyes vigilantly watched the road, but his thoughts were elsewhere. This isn't a date. . . . Right? I mean, it could.. but his friends are there? Ugh. Always thinking of the best, Eston. Gotta stop doing that bucko.

His head swirled with the thoughts, the doubts, the hopes. An hour long ride seemed to turn into minutes as he blankly followed the route to Scott's apartment complex. When he parked, he looked up from the steering wheel like he had woken up from a dream. Eston's thoughts focused.

"Made it already?" Eston thought out loud to the empty passenger seat. He sighed and texted Scott that he was on his way up to his floor.

Scott heard his buzzer zipp at him and he stopped rearranging his tv cabinet with a jolt. It took him a second to tell his guest "Be there in a sec!" as he straightened his shirt and tidied his hair.

Scott opened the door feigning a casual smile that reeked of his nervous yet excited temperament.
"Hey man! Come on in, you're the first one here."

Eston was nearly overjoyed when his friend opened the door. For the show, for the premiere. He kept telling himself. "Thanks for inviting me," The blonde said, walking in and taking off his hoodie, he sat on the fairly small couch.

"You can really thank your self, pal. You sent the invitation." Scott said playfully.

Eston laughed quietly "What-ever Scott I couldn't let my bud celebrate by himself!" The room silenced save for Scott's TV humming with ad breaks and the droll of the vents.

Eston looked up at him. "Oh, no I meant-" he nervously chuckled, "without me, y'know! Your best bud!" The shorter of the two corrected himself and lightly punched Scott's shoulder.

Scott pushed away the embarrassment in the truth of Eston's assumption that he'd be alone and composed himself to speak. "Yeah, I know. You just can't get enough of me! heh." He started his jeer off in a friendly tone, but as he kept going his own feelings swam around his brain and he was afraid he'd said the wrong thing. Scott's freckled face was just ever so slightly tinted a red shade.

Eston's complexion wasn't too far from Scott's as he smiled at him awkwardly. "Yeah, right! You uh-" he cut himself off.

Scott looked at him, hoping Eston didn't notice his flush across his face.

"You got any snacks?" Eston awkwardly corrected himself, sending his crush an equally awkward toothy grin.

"Uh, yeah, I got plenty, go get you something." Scott stammered. As Eston walked away, he watched briefly before scolding himself. Damnit Scott what the hell was that? 'You can't get enough of me!' Seriously? Get a grip dumbass it's just a date. Wait wait wait- no no nono it's not—

Scott's thoughts came to a halt as Eston came back with a bag of potato chips. He kicked off his shoes and hopped onto the next to him. "Oh, look, it's starting." Eston announced.

The Introduction began and Scott and Eston just sat there watching for a bit. Eston tapped Scotts shoulder and silently offered him a large chip. Scott nodded awkwardly and accepted it. The theme came and went, and then the buzz of ad programs began anew.

"Man, Chris is such a tool." Eston huffed.
"He tried to kill us and you think he's a tool?? Man he's a jack hammer!" Scott quipped, throwing up his hands slightly with his wrists.
"Yeah, he's a lil shitbag." Eston reasoned, laughing a bit.
"Hey," Scott piped up.
Eston turned up from his phone. "Hm?"
"'Member the 'dunk or dare' thing? What was yours?" Scott asked carefully.
"Ah-ah-ah," Eston tisked, "you interrupted the game, you don't get to hear!" He giggled.
"Aw come on doll, you can tell m-" Scott's eyes grew wide.
"Doll..?" Eston repeated. He buried his face in his hands.

Scott slouched and looked away. "Uh huh."

Eston's face was as red as a fire engine when Scott felt his arms wrap around his shoulders and his face squished into his arm. He groaned a little in embarrassment mixed with pure giddiness.
Scott turned to look at him and his blush deepened. Eston looked up at him.

"You like playing with dolls, Scott?" Eston asked, trying to flirt but stumbling over his words just enough to sound pathetic.

"Uh.. yeah." Scott smiled a little and put his arm behind and over Eston's shoulders, half-hugging him back. "I do.."

For the rest of the night they didn't speak, just quietly watched the premiere eating junk. Time crawled effortlessly and 1:00am came like a rushing flood.

"I guess you're staying here, d'rlin'" Scott smiled.

"I reckon." Eston mocked playfully.
