Chapter 10: flashbacks 1/2

Mochi's PoV:
As i streched and walked towards my room Kai's face flash back in my mind i slightly blushed and throwed the pillow i had. "Stupid Kai always getting on my nerves!" I said then walked towards the window and stared at the sky. It was pinch black. Right before i leaved Aito and Dazai.. The sky was beautiful.. It was full of stars.. Now its just darkness. Its like the night when my mom tried to kill me and 'accidentally' burned me.

~Flashback~ {5 year old Mochi}
"Don't you dare talk to that child! She's a monster like the cursed boy." One of the adults said. "Im not a monster.. Look!.. A monster can't socialize!" I tried to excused myself. They just ignored me and continued to walk away. "Im not a monster.. Im just a mere human being like.. You guys.." I whispered myself.

{Academy}

"Look its the monster!" A boy shouted as it throw a rock on me. I quickly tryed to stopped the rock but instead it flew over my forehead as i knocked down. I rubbed my forehead and a red liquid comed out of my hand. I sat up slowly while panting. "What did i do to you to make you do this to me?!" I shouted. "Cuz' you're a monster! And you don't fit in a village like this!" The boy asked as the other 2 kids throwed rocks on me.

The first rock flew over my shoulder while the second one flew over my ankle as i fall from my knees. While the boys kept insulting me over and over again until i losed my mind. "DIE!!" I shouted as some random dog bit the trio. They shouted in pain while parents and adults comed to the resque. They all stared at me and started screaming at me. Insulted me. Now.. I know where the trio got they're attitued. "Damare.. Damare..! DAMARE!!!" ("Shut up.. Shut up...! SHUT UP!!!") i shouted as i ran out away from the other people as some ninjas comed after me.

I ran towards my house quick as my relatives stared at me with dissapointment. "MOM!!!!" I shouted as tears filled my eyes. I ran towards my mom and hugged her as i go behind her. "Lady Arisu!" As one of the ninjas called out. I hugged my mom tighter as they got closer. "Whats wrong, why are you chasing my child?" My mom asked. "You're child just made some dogs bite poor little children!" The ninja said while panting.

"I'll take care of it. Go on with you're work." My Mom said. "Thank you Lady Arisu. Farewell." As the ninjas leaved. "Farewell." I heard my mom said in a cold tone. Then she grabbed my hand and throw me accross the room as i coughed. "Y-you!.." I heard my mom muttered while i closed my eyes shut because of the pain. "YOU DISGRACEFULL CHILD!!!!! ALWAYS PUTTING KIRAMI CLAN DOWN!!" My mom shouted. I couldn't react.. before i even say something she grabbed a stick and hitted me instantly without hessitation.

I cried and cried and begged for forgiveness. Nothing really changed it. It was... Pathetic.. Then my mom grabbed my hair and pulled me over towards the kitchen. While i heard my mom grabbed a pot of boiling water. "This is what you get for pulling us down." As she poured the boiling hot water at my back as i cried and screamed in pain. "MAKE IT STOP!!! MAKE IT STOP!!!" I shouted and cried to make the pain stop. Obviously nothing happened. My Mom just.. Leaved.

I ran towards the bathroom and maked the water tempretured cold and washed my back even if i still have clothes on. My own mom.. Tried to kill me. After a long time of being in the bathroom i didn't know i fainted while in the shower. Before i completely blacked out i heard someone screamed.

"Tsk. What can we do?? Its all in the past they're already dead." i said the. throwed myself at the bed then slept.

Kai's PoV:
I layed down at my bed thinking of the image of Mochi. Its a bit odd since we.. Don't even know if we like each other. As a FRIEND of course what would you expect? I scoffed and say "There's no such things as LoVe" i said to myself. "Friend her? Pfft, dont make me laugh she's just a mere rival nothing more." I tried to explain to myself. "Nothing more..." i stood up and jumped at my bed like a kid.
