⊹ Authors POV ⊹

     YOU HAD BEEN Flug's assistant for a month now, you two had gotten to get to know each other more within that time. So you were always welcome in his laboratory and free to just walk in.

You walked over by Flug's desk with some papers in your arms. "Heya doc, I finished the paperwork but you have to look over them for me. Hmm? Flug?" You spoke.

Your eyes flickered off the papers and looked at the desk. There was Flug looking down at a picture frame. He then snapped out of it and casted his gaze onto you.

"Ahaha, that's wonderful [y/n]. I'll look over them right away, gracias." He said with a nervous laugh.

You tilted your head and walked closer to him. "Flug, are you alright?" You asked him.

He nodded his head. "Yep, just thinking about...um family and stuff. But I've been way better with you as my assistant! Now I actually can have some time to...well kinda relax. Thank you [y/n]." He thanked you.

Your face lightly blushed as you smiled at him. "Of course Flug, you deserve it," You then gave him a sympathetic look. "and if you ever need to talk about, well–family stuff like that, I'm always open. After all, I have some of my own." You explained with a laugh.

His face blushed under the bag, he gave a nod. "Sure [y/n], that sounds ni—"

"Nerd and [y/n]! Stop being so lovey dovey over there and let's go see mi amor!" Demencia yelled at the two of you.

You and Flug nervously walked together towards Blackhat's office. To break the silence, Flug gave a small cough.

"Demencia is quite the handful as always huh." He commented.

You lightly laughed. "Yeah she is, but I personally don't mind." You added.

Flug opened the door for you, leading to the office. "Well, that's because you're a nice person." He complimented without even realizing.

You had started feeling odd whenever Flug was near you or said things like that. You smiled at him as your heart fluttered a bit.

You walked in along with Flug. Demencia was being shoved away by Blackhat. His eyes shifted towards you and the doctor. You stood up as Flug started to sweat.

"You called for us, Jefecito?" Flug spoke up.

Blackhat got up and went towards where you and Flug were standing. He used his nails and opened up a portal.

You stared in amazement as Flug sighed, already knowing what was going to happen.

"I did, doctor. We have a client who wishes to do business with us. Get their signature and come back within twenty-four hours. Take this card, it has the information." He explained while handing the small card to Flug.
