Science - Chapter 5

The day goes by and soon enough it's the next day of school. They are all sitting in class and the teacher announces "Class listen up. We are going to be doing some science experiments today. We will be mixing chemicals to make different kinds of paste. So get in a group of two or three." Luca looks at Giulia, Giulia looks at Luca; and Alberto looks at Luca. Luca and Giulia high five and Alberto is just giving them a death stare and looks back at the board dramatically . "Hey Beto be with me and Giulia!" Luca says while looking at Alberto. "How about I partner with uh that kid. What's his name?" Alberto says being petty. "Uh you want to partner with Keliu? (Pronounced key-lee-ooh). "Yup I do" Alberto says still being petty. "oh uh okay I guess" Luca says sadly. "HEY KID, YA U. YOUR MY PARTNER NOW. COME SIT HERE" Alberto yells to Keliu across the classroom. ". . ." Keliu says nothing but comes to sit with Alberto anyways. "So do you know how to make paste?" Alberto asks being dumb. "Uh yea, it depends on what kind you want-" "yeah yeah yeah I know how." Alberto says and grabs a science book. "Let's do this one. Okay so it says uh green liquid and the black thingy and the orange tube and uh this is uh blue stuff." Alberto says while looking at a random page. "It says in the board we have to do the play-dough paste thing-" Keliu says. "No one cares. So I have this stuff and this stuff and it goes in the bottle" Alberto throws random liquids into the science jar and just as Keliu tries to stop him Alberto throws another random powder into the mix and ~BOOM~ it explodes on Alberto's arm. The entire class is staring at Alberto and Keliu and Alberto starts screaming. "AH IT BURNS OWWWW!!!!" Luca grabs Alberto's other arm and takes him to the bathroom. The teacher follows and goes into the bathroom with them (he is a man). "OW OW OW" Alberto says as Luca runs his arm under cold water. "Alberto why didn't you follow the instructions on the board?! It says to not use the black powder and the turquoise bottle of liquid!" The teacher exclaims. "I CANT READ" Alberto shouts. "Oh.. right. But Keliu can. Why didn't you just listen to him?" The teacher asked. "Look, I don't want to be here right now and I don't want to hear you right now. I don't care and I just want to go home- and I don't mean Giulia's mom's house I mean back with my dad. I hate school.." Alberto says while looking down. "Look kid in school you have to follow rules and that's listening to your classmates. When Keliu said not to, you shouldn't have-" As the teacher is talking Alberto cuts him off "AND I DONT CARE!" Alberto stomps out and he is making his way to the office and Luca stops him. "Alberto where are you going?!" Luca asks. "Home.. well to Giulia's mom's house then I'm getting a ticket back home. School is dumb and science is dumb. I. Want. To. Go. Home." "..I'll help you call home. You don't even know numbers" Luca says with a sigh knowing thats the only solution right now. Luca calls Giulia's mom and she picks Luca, Alberto, and Giulia up from school.
