Nana's first thought when she saw her baby boys was that she was going to love them forever. Her second thought was she's going to need a bigger house, she didn't know why but labeled it as a mother's instinct. She looked up smiling weakly at the doctor. Still a little melancholy that her husband (Iemitsu) couldn't be there to hold her hand.

"Thank you. Can you pass me my phone please?"

"Yes."

"Ah, thank you," Nana said, fumbling with the phone. The doctor smiles, nods, and walks out giving the new mother some privacy. It was seven in the morning for Iemitsu when she called.

By the time Iemitsu managed to get home, it had been a week since Tsunayoshi and Ietsuna were born.

Tsuna was walking through Namimori forest to his favorite clearing-far enough from town to be hard to find but not far enough to get lost easily. When he stumbled across Hibari Kyoya napping in the sunshine.

Not wanting to wake the other boy, Tsuna sat down quietly. Missing how the boy glanced at him before going back to sleep.

When Tsuna looked up from his book sometime later he found, to his surprise, the other boy was awake and staring at him.

After Tsuna regained his composure he stood up and bowed saying, "Sorry for disturbing you. My name is Tsunayoshi, what's your name?"

"Hn, Kyoya."

"Nice to meet you Kyoya-san!" Tsuna said with a beaming smile.

•°•

The next day they run into each other again quite literally. Tsuna stumbled back, dropping his books, and automatically reached out to Kyoya to steady himself; bringing him down with him.

'Now that I think about it, Kyoya-san is really pretty. Soft-looking black hair. Sharp, narrowed gray-blue eyes. Pale skin. Petty face.'

(If Kyoya knew how Tsuna just described him he would have surely bitten him to death.)

Kyoya grunts when they hit the ground. They carefully untangle from each other, getting ready to stand up when another boy comes running down the sidewalk only to trip on an uneven piece of concrete and fall on top of them.

Tsuna squirms under the weight of the two boys, both of them weighing more than him. While Kyoya pushes the other off of him so he can get up.

"Kyo-san! Sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going," the boy says.

"Hn," Kyoya turns to look down at Tsuna while offering a hand.

Kyoya watches in mild surprise as the small and fluffy child takes his hand and gives him a shy smile. Tsuna then turns to the other boy and says, "Hello, my name is Tsunayoshi. What is yours?"

"Kusakabe Tetsuya, nice to meet you Tsunayoshi-san."

"Nice to meet you as well Kusakabe-san."

"Let's go," Kyoya interjected.

"Okay," Kusakabe nodded and waved goodbye to Tsuna.

Returning the gesture Tsuna bends over picking up his books and putting them back into his bag. As he starts to stand he hears Kyoya's sharp voice saying, "Tsunayoshi, come on."

Tsuna just nodded dumbly frozen for a second before his face lit up with a blush and smile. Following them blissfully unaware of the light dusting of pink on Kyoya's cheeks.

"Be my secretary, Tsunayoshi," Kyoya all but demands when they get to the clearing.

He just barely manages to choke out a simple, "W-what?"

"Be my secretary."

"Why?"

"Does it matter?"

"Yes," Tsuna says firmly, raising his gaze from the ground.

"You're Fluffy."

"Kyo-san you can't just say that to someone!" Tetsuya says trying to get him to use manners.

"Tetsu," Kyoya says as sharply as he can as a six-year-old, then turns to look expectantly at Tsuna.

Tsuna sighs in defeat, face still red, and huffs out a 'Fine'.

•°•

"Kusakabe-san," Tsuna says once they all got settled.

"Call me 'Tetsu', we're going to be working together."

"Okay, Tetsu-san then," Tsuna says, completely forgetting what he was going to ask.

•°•

Tsuna was sitting in a tree this time, reading a book, when Kyoya pops up with a man and Tetsuya following him.

He looks down from his perch, weary of the adult. He watches as the man sits down with Kyoya and Tetsuya, slightly jumping when he hears Kyoya call him.

Gracefully he climbs down and hesitantly walks over to him staying as far away from the stranger as possible. Looking expectantly at Kyoya he whispers, "Who is that?"

"My name is Fon, I'm Kyoya's Uncle. Nice to meet you..."

Tsuna, startled by his voice, ducks behind Kyoya and Tetsuya. Shaking, he steps back out from behind them observing the man. While doing so he notes how much he looks like Kyoya, the raven hair, narrow eyes, how he only gave his first name, and how he talks.

"Tsunayoshi. Nice to meet you Fon-san."

"I hear a lot about you from Kyoya Tsunayoshi-kun. It's nice to finally meet you."

Kyoya gives Fon a betrayed look while Tetsuya laughs quietly in the background. Tsuna, not knowing what to say, just stares silently at them, a little confused.

When Kyoya looks back at Tsuna he grabs his sleeve pulling him forward and towards Fon, whispering a confirmation. Tsuna sits down between Kyoya and Tetsuya, handing the latter a book.

"So Kyoya-kun do you want to do your training here today?"

"Hn."

At Fon's confused look Tsuna said, "That's a yes."

Fon stands up motioning for them to follow. Confused, Tsuna looks to Kyoya only to be dragged after Fon with Kyoya on his right and Tetsuya on his left.

"Where are we going?" Tsuna questions Fon a little scared and startled at the same time.

"To get you three a change of clothes."

Nodding hesitantly he relaxes into Kyoya's grip when he repositions so his arm is around Tsuna's shoulders instead. Tetsuya had let go once out of the clearing.

After training for a while they decided to go out to get ice cream and then go back to Fon's house to eat. The walk was quite uneventful so far.

"What kind of ice cream do you want Tsunayoshi-kun?"

"I don't know," Tsuna answered shyly, with an embarrassed blush, looking at the ground.

"Would you like to go in with me then?" Fon asks gently, a smile firmly held in place at Tsuna's surprise.

Hesitating, he nodded slowly, saying quietly, "Sure."

•°•

Tsuna turns around when he hears the bell on the door ring.
