A light shade was casted over my eyes as the wind shuffled my ripped curtains aside, allowing me to know that it was yet another day of pain and misery.
I know. I'm a ray of sunshine.
I groaned as I slid off my so called bed, which was really only three inches off the ground, and onto the floor already dreading the day ahead of me. I guided the thin material, that kept me remotely warm at night, off my being.
Being slightly taller than all the other women in the pack had it pros and cons, a con being your feet always dangled off the end of the bed. None the less, being tall was refreshing.
Checking my cracked and broken IPhone 5, my features morphed into one of fear. I yelped as I heard a crashing sound followed by strings of curse words, knowing exactly what had caused the racket I ripped open my faded door and sprung down the stairs.
Running down the stairs, I silently prayed that they aren't too mad. As expected, my wishes were not heard as a manicured-nailed fist plunged it way towards me.
Before I knew it, I was flying through the air. I curled into a ball ready for the impact, as it came it was harsher than I'd expected which successfully knocked the air out of me.
Apparently the loud crash had awoken the Beta, Xavier, and the Alpha, Seth.
I wasn't exactly knew to the pack, but I wasn't here my whole life. I'd just moved here from my old pack, The Blood Moon Pack, to seek a different way of living. That didn't go as planned, if anything I was treated worse here than I was there.
Alpha and Beta stood silently on the steps, waiting to see how this would play out.
Where did this all start? Well, It started two months ago when I'd first arrived at this dreadful pack. When I had first arrived I was lively and looking for a new start, I soon realised that here to be respected you have to be a higher rank in the pack. Unlike most of the pack I was an Omega, nothing special like the others. As soon as I arrived, Candy- a cliché blonde bimbo- instantly took a hating towards me, to this day I still don't know why. Alpha and Beta knew that the reason I had been kicked out of my old pack was because I suffered from severe anger issues, I had almost killed someone in my old pack.
Anyway, Candy still oblivious to the Alpha and Beta in the room thought it would be a good idea to bring her sculptured fist down onto my face in my weak moment. Like always, I breathed in and out trying to keep myself calm and not lash out on her.
My face flung to the side due to the force that her fist had unleashed on my face, I growled under my breathe trying to keep my cool.
"That's enough." A deep husky voice commanded from where the Alpha and Beta stood. Candy, blind by rage, ignored them and continued to physically bash me.
My patience was slowly slipping, my iris stung indicating that my eyes were flickering between its normal dark brown colour to its dangerous glowing blue. I groaned out, not in pain, but in fury.
"This will teach you, mutt" Candy snickered from above my curled form.
My fist circled into tight balls, wanting to be satisfied with the pleasure of pounding Candy's face in.
I was no stranger to fighting, my father used to teach my to defend myself if I was ever attacked. At the time, there was nothing I dreaded more than getting up every morning to train with him but now, I couldn't be more thankful.
