Hope the Cat

Do you think that, during one of his many visits, Quackity finds the corpse of Hope?

Because the cat's body couldn't have gone anywhere. The Dream SMP has made it clear that bodies don't just despawn. We still have Schlatt's heart, after all.

So do you think Quackity found it? It couldn't have been easy to hide, if it had been hidden at all. The prison is tiny and Quackity is sure to have explored every inch of it.

What do you think he did with it? Do you think he took it out of the prison, too disgusted with the smell of a rotting corpse to keep it in the small box?

Do you think he burned it in front of a helpless Dream, the man unable to do anything as the last of his Hope was burned away by the lava trapping him inside?

I don't think so.

I think Quackity left it there. Retrieved it from whatever spot Dream had hidden it - Dream being unable to destroy it but equally unable to leave it in the open - and placed it square in Dream's line of sight, told him not to touch it, and then left.

An exercise in self restraint, was what it was, in Quackity's mind.

Bullshit. I think Quackity just wanted to see the anguish on Dream's face when he returned the next day, Dream sitting obediently in the corner, watching the corpse of his cat rot away.
