I have been camping for the last week and I am currently sitting in a damp tent writing this, not impressed at all.

The next morning was rather awkward, Konan sat giggling at a very red faced Uzumaki while Sasuke just sat there with a smug smirk. Pain looked pissed off as usual and kept sighing unnecessarily as Deidara and Hidan carried on trying to chat up the blushing blonde despite the harsh death glares from the Uchiha.

"What does an organisation like this do anyway." The raven mumbled, crossing his arms as he leant back against his chair.

"I'm not sure, rehabilitate unicorns? What the fuck do you think we do?" Hidan spat out, smirking smugly as he made the whiskered blonde giggle at his joke.

As Sasuke retorted back at the silver haired male's smart ass remark, Pain got up and wondered out of the room silently. Nobody noticed his disappearance except Konan who just nodded knowingly as the ginger disappeared from sight.

"And so that's how I won monopoly against the whole Akatsuki." Hidan grinned, sitting on the edge of his seat with an arm around the waist of the Uzumaki.

"Oh fuck off Hidan no you didn't, Kakuzu made you go bankrupt and you flipped the board." Sasori shouted, clearly pissed off at the three's childish arguing.

As Pain walked back inside, Sasuke wrenched the hand, which was wrapped around the blonde's waist, away. Giving a famous Uchiha glare to Hidan, he pulled Naruto back over to himself possessively.

Oblivious, the Uzumaki's face lit up with excitement as he saw what the leader was carrying across the room. Setting the objects down, Pain looked directly at the two males.

Two fine silk cloaks were handed to the men, the coats embroidered with the famous wine red clouds outlined in a thin white material. The cloaks had a zipper to hold the material together which was accompanied by a rather pretentious looking collar. The sleeves widened at the cut, assuring for practical use during battle.

Secondly; there were the rings. Each Akatsuki member had a different coloured ring with a unique symbol. Naruto was given a crimson ring which outlined his dainty fingers nicely as Sasuke was handed a shiny obsidian ring, it's symbol highlighted in white.

Slipping the items on, they realised right there and then that they had both just become official members of the Akatsuki. Naruto would never ever become Hokage, and that thought seemed to cross his mind as his blonde eyebrows knitted together sorrowfully. Fiddling with the zip connected to his cloak, salty tears gathered in the corners of his glaucous eyes.

Feeling a nudge to his side, Naruto glanced up and noticed Sasuke's features aligned into a reassuring smile, beaming down at him. Comforted by the sight, the blonde's lips twitched up into a gentle smile as he sniffed his tears back. It was a terrifying thought to be a rogue ninja with no village to lay back on, but with Sasuke by his side he knew he could achieve anything.

As the Akatsuki quietened down from the official announcement of two new members, the raven subtly pulled the blonde to the side.

"Naruto." Sasuke mumbled, looking frantically around him to determine no one was in sight.

"Huh?" Confused by the Uchiha's sudden nervous state, the blonde listened carefully as Sasuke whispered his next words.

"We can't stay here, we need to run away together." The raven's eyebrows knitted together in paranoia, his hands trembling as he addressed the Uzumaki on his plan.

"You can't just leave a crime organisation like this, they will kill you." Whispering back frantically, the whiskered male's azure eyes widened at the confession.
