Okay, I hate to admit that I got into this fandom, but to be fair, after hearing about the man behind the slaughter one too many times, I wanted to know who the heck he even is and that's how I found out that the game I thought was only a typical horror jumpscare actually had lore, so here we go. I stole the idea of Purple Guy Loser from some people on Instagram, by the way. Loser as William still doesn't make that much sense to me but whatever. Warning: FNAF, I guess. Anyway, on with the story!
The deaths had started with Flower.
As the youngest Afton child, Flower was always their dad's favorite. While Blocky had been saddled with the responsibility of looking after his siblings as the oldest and Woody had been practically invisible to their dad as the middle child, Flower was constantly doted on and, to be honest, a bit spoiled.
So, nobody was really surprised when they had heard that Loser was making an animatronic for Flower.
"What's its name?" Flower had asked enthusiastically.
"Her name is Circus Baby," Loser replied.
"When will she be finished?" Flower asked excitedly.
Loser just smiled. "Soon, my dear, soon."
And indeed, Circus Baby had been finished not long afterwards. Flower immediately took a liking to the animatronic at first sight. There was only one problem.
"What do you mean I can't play with her? You made her for me! How come you let other kids approach her but not me!" Flower huffed.
"Flower, I'm sorry, but this is for your own safety," Loser said gently, although if anyone took a closer look, they'd see some other emotion in his eyes. "You trust Dad, don't you?"
Flower bit her lip. "Well, yes but..."
"Then you will do as I say," Loser said as he got up and turned to Woody in one of the few times he actually noticed him. "I'm going to call this troublesome brother of yours. You stay and look after your sister, alright?"
Woody wasn't exactly sure he could stop Flower from doing anything if he had to, considering how stubborn Flower could be, but he just nodded nervously in response.
"Good," Loser said, before walking toward the other room where the telephone was.
There was an awkward silence between the two siblings before Flower looked up at Woody and made the most innocent looking face she could muster.
"Woody, can you get me a glass of water?"
"What? But I can't leave you alone, Dad's counting on me," Woody replied, frowning.
Flower sighed dramatically. "Fine, I guess I'll just die of thirst here..."
Woody's face paled. "Alright, I'll get you a glass of water! I'll be right back! Stay where you are!"
"Thanks, Woody!"
Once Woody was out of earshot, Flower dashed towards Circus Baby. She knew she was disobeying both her father and Woody's directions, but this was supposed to be her present, not the other kids'! Besides, she'd only play with Circus Baby for a little while, then go back to her previous spot, and neither member of her family would be any the wiser.
"Wow! Ice cream!" Flower said in awe as the animatronic extended her arm out, offering the young girl an ice cream cone. "A robot that makes ice cream!" Flower yelled excitedly, before reaching out to grab the ice cream cone. She was so captivated that she didn't notice Woody coming back-
"Wait, Flower! No!"
-nor the claw that was extending from the animatronic's chest-
And that was how the youngest child of the Afton family died.
Then, it was Woody's turn. Having seen what had happened to his younger sister, he grew terrified of the animatronics, constantly having nightmares about them hunting him down at night. Or so that's what he thought it was.
You see, Loser had learned his lesson and even though he was pretty sure Woody was already traumatized by his sister's death, Loser had taken things a step further by using illusion disks that would make Woody even more afraid of the animatronics.
And it worked. Except that, also dealing with the grief of his sister dying and looking for a scapegoat, Blocky saw Woody's newfound fear of the animatronics as the perfect excuse to make the boy's life hell. After all, Woody had a lot of fears, but it was only recently that he started getting scared of the very things their dad worked on, which ironically looked a lot like the stuffed animals that Woody adored so much. Blocky found it stupid.
To tell the truth, Blocky found a lot of things stupid at that point in time. He was a teenager, filled with rage and angst, constantly frustrated over the fact that nobody in his family really understood him and that his dad only ever seemed to scold him. But he couldn't lash out at his dad, so he directed all his anger and malice towards Woody.
Things came to a head when Woody's birthday party was held. Despite Woody's pleas against it, Loser decided that it would be fine for his party to be at one of the Fazbear locations, considering that he was definitely not going to approach animatronics any time soon.
At least, not willingly.
But that was the problem. Woody was forced, against his will, to get closer to Fredbear. Blocky wasn't willing to give Woody a break, not even on his birthday, so he and his friends decided to play a prank on the younger boy. They lifted Woody up and carried him over to Fredbear, deciding to take it a step further by putting the young brunette's head in the mouth of Fredbear-
And that's how the middle child of the Afton Family died.
Blocky was wracked with guilt. As much as he lashed out as his younger brother, he never meant to go as far as to kill him. So he tried to change for the better, he really did. But Loser wasn't having any of that. Blaming Blocky for Woody's death, he kicked Blocky out of the house. That should have been the end of it, the last time Blocky ever heard from his father.
Until one day, his father called him and asked him for a favor, claiming that it was the only way he could redeem himself from Woody's death.
And thus, the clock starts ticking to the oldest child's death.
