Something new (Naegiri)

Talking to The Head Master

After I left Kyoko in the Garden the Intercom turned on. I heard Mr.Kirigiri's voice playing through it and he said

"Makoto Naegi, please come to my office as soon as possible."

I was a bit worried at first but calmed down, I hadn't have done anything to get in trouble.
I went to The Head Master's office still a bit worried but with courage. I opened the door to see Mr. Kirigiri sitting on his chair looking at me.

"Don't worry your not in trouble Makoto." He smiled.

"I see you have been keeping an eye on my daughter, am I wrong?" My eyes widened when he said that.

"I want you to make her happy for me. Will you accept the task? She hasn't been happy after being with her grandfather and what he did." I was a bit shocked hearing it from the head master. Is he hearing himself? She's his daughter, most father's wouldn't want any boys near their daughter. I nodded. 

"Thank you Makoto. I couldn't be more grateful, nobody has tried to be friends with her. Only when she was a child, in a Kindergarten she made one friend. You know, he looked like you, just as a child instead!" The head master smiled at me.  

"I do remember a little bit. I had a friend in  Kindergarten and she looked exactly like your daughter but as a child." I chuckled at the thought

"Anyways, thank you Makoto. You're free to go." I nodded and left his office and after walking down the hall I saw Leon, Mondo, And Chihiro hanging out.

I walked up to them. "Hey!" Leon said once we made eye contact.

"What's up?" Mondo said

"Hi Makoto!" Chihiro smiled

"Hey guys! What are ya'll doing?" I asked

"We were about to go to the Music room to see Leon perform." Mondo Said.

"He want's to be a musician instead of playing Baseball!" Chihiro said

"Want to come with us?" Leon asked.

"Sure, I have nothing to do either way! And I wouldn't mind seeing you perform either." I smiled

We walked to the Music Room Sayaka was there with Celest probably hanging like us.

Leon went up to the stage and started to sing. I noticed he winked at Sayaka. 

I chuckled when he did. 

"What's so funny, Makoto?" Mondo Asked

"Leon winked at Sayaka" I replied to Mondo.

"Ah! He did?" Mondo started to laugh.

Chihiro heard us and began to chuckle a little too.

I smiled at them. Then I felt a vibration from my pocket.

"Hmm?" I grabbed my phone from my pocket. It was Komaru she texted me.

Komaru: Hey Makoto! How are you at Hopes Peak? You haven't visited us. Ugh, yes, yes before you say you just arrived. Mom keeps telling me to text you that. I don't mind you being away for a while longer, Haha!

I smiled at my phone chuckling more. 
"Who's that Makoto?" Mondo asked. 

"Is she your girlfriend that calls your mother mom?" Mondo said again

"What? No! She's my little sister, Mondo." I replied laughing at what Mondo had said

"Ah, I see. Sorry for the misunderstanding." He patted my back.

"Alright I'm done guys! How'd I do? Great didn't I?"

Chihiro chuckled "You did great Kuwata-kun! But don't be too full of yourself!" 

"You did good Jackass!" Mondo replied

"It was pretty good, Leon!" I said

Leon seemed proud of himself, I mean who wouldn't? 

Sayaka walked up to me and said "Hey Makoto!"

Leon calmed down  and looked confused.

"Oh hi Sayaka!" I replied to Sayaka
"Hey Leon you did great." Sayaka looked over to Leon, Leon began to blush at the compliment he received.

"I'll see you boys later!" Sayaka said

Sayaka went back to Celeste 
"I'm a bit tired guys I'll talk to you later?" I said to  the guys.

They nodded and I walked away. While I was going to my dorm to relax, I saw Kyoko. I walked up to her and said. 

"Hey Kirigiri!"

"Hello Naegi?" She replied.

"I'm sorry if I bothered you at the garden. I thought you were upset and I wanted to make sure you were okay!" I smiled at her while we walked down the hall ways.

"I see. You're worried about me?" Her face had a little confusion to it, but not much.

"Yea! You're my friend, friends care about each other don't they?" 

"Friends?" She was even more confused.

"Mhm!"

"Do you not wanna be friends or something..?" I started to frown a bit, I really wanted to make her happy.

"Huh? Oh. That's not it, I'm just not used to having friends.." She said

"Well don't worry! As longest I'm here I'll never let you be alone, without friends!"

Kyoko seemed a bit surprised once I said that. But her Iron Mask came back just as fast.

"Thank you, Naegi."

I smiled at her. "Well I'll get going I don't think you want me around you for to long! See you around Kirigiri!"
