Something new (Naegiri)

Just a Dream

"Kyoko.." I say.

I see Kyoko turning red by the second. I'm sure I was red already.

"M-Makoto." She stutters.

I hug her. I was happy knowing she felt the same way. But it felt too soon...It didn't feel right

And like that.......

I woke up. I opened my eyes and saw my classmates.

"Makoto!" Aoi yells.

"You finally woke up!" She continued.

"W-What happened...?"

"Well Mondo accidentally hit you while he was doing something and you passed out."

I started to feel tears in my eyes. I thought it was real...But dreams are just like that.

"Are you okay, Naegi?" That voice. It was the last person I wanted to see, especially right now. Kyoko.

"mhm..." I sighed while grabbing my head. It hurt a lot.

"Sorry bro! Didn't mean to hit ya." Mondo said.

"It's no big deal Mondo..." I replied.

"Can I go now?" Byakuya said.

"Y-Yea! You w-wasted master's precious t-time..!" Toko said.

"Tch."

I sighed while getting up.

"Your not 100%" Kyoko said.

"I don't care.."

I heard her sigh. "Well I do. Now sit down and rest."

"No! I have better things to do!"

"Such as?"

"I want to talk to Sayaka. Okay?" I said annoyed.

"Then I'll bring her here."

"No I'll make myself over to her."

"C'mon Makoto you need to rest! You got hit in the head really badly by Mondo!" Aoi said.

I sighed. "I'm sorry Hina but I don't want too."

"Makoto you need to rest! If you don't you could injure yourself!" Taka yelled.

"I agree with bro!"

"Leave me alone." I was pissed.

I walked away from them and got out of the room we were in. I just wanted to re-think of the dream that happened...

But either way..Why would Kyoko like some normal guy like me? She's amazing. And I'm your usual teenager.

"Hey Makoto. I heard what happened sorry I wasn't there. I was doing a concert while you were passed out." It was Sayaka.

"Don't worry about it Sayaka!" I smiled weakly at her. My head started to hurt again.

"Are you feeling better?" She tilts her head.

"M-Mhm!" I lied.

"That's good to hear!" She giggles.

"Yup..!"

"Also, Kyoko seemed pretty worried about you. She said that you seemed mad at her. Is that true?"

"H-Huh? Oh..." I looked down while saying that.

"Is something wrong between the two of you?" Sayaka asked genuinely concerned.

"N-No...." 

"Can we just not talk about, her..?"

"Oh sure! Well I just wanted to check up on you. I'm really busy! I'll see you later!"

I waved at Sayaka while she was walking away.

I sighed. I did not want to hear anything about Kyoko for today.

I walked around and then I say Leon.

"Hey Leon!" I flinched, my head started hurting again... 

"Hey what's up!"

"Nothing much after the little accident that happened."

"Wanna hear me perform to get your mind of that? Haha!"

"Sure why not."

We talked while we headed to the music room. We finally arrived to the room.

I saw Kyoko...

"Well let's hear it..!" I started to get nervous I didn't want to speak to Kyoko.

"On it!" Leon gives me a thumbs up. And starts to perform.

I sighed of relief I'm sure she won't speak to me.

"That was awesome, Leon! Would you mind doing more?"

"Not at all dude! Let me get another instrument."

"Sure!"

"Naegi.."

My eyes widened. Did I really ignore her that much to where I didn't notice she walked up to me?

I gulped my saliva. And closed my eyes hoping she would walk away.

"I see then.." I heard her walk away.

Phew... I did not want to talk to her right now.

"What's that about, dude?"

"What?"

"You and Detective chick."

"Ugh...can we not talk about that..?" I scratched my neck.

"Oh sure."

"Also, would you mind if I hit on her? She seems interesting, heh."

"W-What!?" Out of everybody..?

"Yea she seems hot and interesting."

"What the hell is wrong with you!?" I yell at him.

"What, you don't like her." He chuckled.

"Right..." I sighed.

After watching Leon perform for a while longer I left.

While I was walking through the halls I felt guilty..I've been ignoring Kyoko ever since my dream.

It isn't even her fault, It's mine. I'll try to find her.

I kept walking through the halls. Searching every room, nothing. Every floor, room, and asked everybody. Nothing.

I sighed. It was already getting late so I decided to continue tomorrow.

I went to my dorm and once I walked in I felt really tired.

I flopped on my bed and fell asleep.
