Chapter 18

 ELAINE'S POV

I am here at the palace rooftop with Jimin watching the destruction caused by the monsters. If I came here fast then most of my people were alive.

I didn't realize that few drops of tears fell from my eyes.

Soon Jimin engulfed me into a comforting hug saying

  "Its alright and it's not my fault."

"We have to go visit Celena and teach her a lesson." I said while breaking the hug.

"It's no time to be angry and we aren't supposed to get out of kingdom. Take good care of you. I should head towards vampire kingdom." He said patting my head.

"Ok then take care."

I said and saw him walking away from me soon I lost sight of him.

Let's use the telepathic communication with my friends

I tried to use and yes it worked but only 3.

Where is Melody??

Seongmi got her these powers from Melody and Hyerin has it but what about Melody?

"Hey how are the kingdoms?" Hyerin asked.

"The destruction caused a lot of damage for all the kingdoms and the people are residing in the palace for the time being." Seongmi said.

"Yeah. Btw where is Melody??? She is supposed to be here." I asked.

"Well Namjoon came to dragon kingdom to pick Jungkook for the vampire kingdom. I asked him about Melody and he said that she is no good condition because her brother was killed by Celena in the past and she couldn't kill her. Moreover most of her people died due to the destruction. This is not all. She didn't visit anyone after the fight and refused to visit Namjoon by sending a sorry and thank you letter." She explained.

"I think she is hiding something but for now let's give her some time to recover." Seongmi said.

"We can just visit her and ask her to share her worries. In this way she will be ok." I said.

"Well I will go and try cuz our kingdoms are close. You both stay in your kingdoms it's dangerous out there."

We agreed to Hyerin and proceeded with our day. I wonder what Melody is doing. We got word from Heaven kingdom that we are safe now and a funeral will be arranged there after few days for all the dead people.

HYERIN'S POV

Travelling alone is really cool but you know parents will never allow that, atleast for me. Well it's not their fault to be honest. This situation is a whole different one. Moreover most of our memories are back but we still remember the life we used to have. The truth is I miss it and wanna live there but I cannot leave this place. I like here.

"Edgar when we will reach water kingdom??" I asked my attendant.

"Princess we are near water kingdom." He said.

In a spark of light a huge gate opened infront of us and the view is gorgeous. Just awesome. Few attendants stood there for our welcome as we informed The King and Queen about our arrival. They led us to the palace and the Queen stood there. People are repairing their broken houses and the damage is pretty big.

I bowed but the Queen stopped me saying "Dear no need to bow, I am like your mother. But I beg you please help my daughter so that she can be herself self."

"Don't worry your majesty I will. Believe me." I tried consoling her as she started crying.

"I don't have my son now. He always looked after his sister, made her happy. I don't want to lose my daughter again."

"Your majesty can you please me the details??"

"Well when my daughter died my son went to Celena to kill her. They fought and my son was winning but she said something surprising. She said that she can bring back four of you and when they will be adults they will return here but in return someone has to die. The boys were there and wanted to trade their lives but my son stopped them as he wanted to save his sister and at last he did. Everything happened just as she said. I think Ocenia(Melody) got to know this by her power and now she is blaming herself."

"Don't worry auntie I will help Ocenia, believe me. I should get going."

"Wait dear. There is an important thing I forgot to say. Do you know about 'the curse of red rose'??"

"Yeah only the name."

"I think it's time to tell you. The curse helped you four to reunite and it's going to bring the same faith this time too. Just make sure to escape 'him'. Don't ask any more questions because after this you have to find it out. All about the curse. Only you can do it." She said as I nodded and slightly bowed and went towards Melody's room.

But the main question is

Who is 'him'??

Why should we escape from 'him'??
