The bell saves me from falling asleep in my last class. I get up and just rush out the door. I have no need to be at school anymore. I have to go home and think very much about how I feel. My feelings towards George. I run to my locker and just stuff everything away. Tomorrow was Saturday so no need to grab anything. Wait. Today's Friday......crap. I have to go to a soccer game....where I am going to play against Josh. That meant the rest of the boys were going to be there. Damn, I really can't risk this. Plus, Winter Formal is soon. I think I remember George asking this girl....Sophie I think? Whatever, I don't have time for this. I need to get home, shower, and get ready to go beat Josh.
I start walking home but I forgot I live around all of my friends....uh. I start to run and I hear my name and the familiar voice of George panting from behind. I have honestly never seen myself run so fast. I reach my house door and run in shutting it tightly behind me. I breath and slide down the door. I open my eyes to see my annoying brother staring at me. Max runs off and Finn comes and sits next to me. In my own opinion Finn has always loved me more than Max.
"Uh, Hey there Finny. What's up? Look's like something bugging you?" I hug Finn and ruffle his hair.
"No, It's just, I want to watch you guys play soccer but, I doubt you want me to go."
I chuckle and tickle Finn.
"Of course you can come. Maybe even some ice cream after? My treat!"
Finn smiles, hugs me, and runs upstairs.
"Hey sis, I'm going over to Dan's bye!!" With that, Max runs out of the house and down the street.
I get up and start getting ready...to beat Josh.
I brush all my hair back and put it in a high ponytail. I pull on my Navy Blue soccer shirt on and my shorts. Next come my socks, then my cleats. I run down stairs and grab my duffel bag and water bottle.
"Finny!! Are ya' ready yet? It's time to go!"
I hear little footsteps come down the stairs and Finn is by my side. We rush out the door and head down the street to Ko's house.
"Oh hey Maria! Hey Finny!! Come on in guys!"
Finn runs in and starts to watch TV. I hug Ko and walk up to her room with her.
"Hey, where were you after school today? George couldn't find you and it seemed like he needed to talk to you like really bad."
"Uh you know, I had to come home, take Max to Dan's place and then *my voice suddenly got lower* I brought Finny because....you know, my mom and dad are filling out papers for the divorce.."
