"You haven't told them? Why Maria? They have the right to know what's going on with their parents."
"Ko, you don't get it, they are both seven and I can't risk breaking their hearts. My dad is moving back to New York and.....He wants to take Max and Finn. That means I won't be able to see them until like, the one week a year I visit over there."
"I'm sorry girl! At least your not dealing with boy problems!!" After Ko finishes her sentence I look up at her and nod my head.

"WAIT WHAT?! YOU LIKE GEORGE!!!?? WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME WOMAN!!"
"Uh, cause I forgot to?"
Ko just gives me a silly glare and I get up and run out of her room. We run downstairs.
"Come on Finny!! It's game time!!" We run out the door and head to the field. I really didn't know what to expect when we got to the field. It was pretty freaking full. I saw Josh warming up with some other guys from school and then I saw my group of girls waiting to get started. We ran into JJ and Jaymi at the entrance.
"Hey guys! I brought Finn, mind watching him while I play please?"
"No problem love, uh, but where's Max?"
"He's over at Dan's place ok? I gotta run!"
I run over to the field and throw down my duffel bag. I catch up to my team. We start talking then warming up. It seemed weird to me that there was no sign of George here. He said he was gonna come but, whatever. We start the game. I come face to face with Josh.
"Good luck Joshy, your gonna need it."
Then the whistle blows.

It seemed like the game went on for a lifetime. All the cheering, running, and yelling. A boys v.s girl game ended with 8-12. Girls won. I just drop to the floor. I was happy yet really freaking tired. Josh helps me up.
"Good game girl...good game."
"Now you owe me food, away horsie!!"
I jump on Josh's back and he gives me a piggy back ride to the benches. We grab out stuff and head to Ko's car where everyone was waiting. As Josh and I wake up behind them we see this blonde girl standing next to George. They seemed to be standing a bit too close to each other.
"Aye guys!! It's Josh and I! Ya'll ready to go get some food?" Finn runs over as he hears me talking. I pick him up and just hug him.
"Good game girl!" Ko runs up and pats me on the back. Everyone turns around and looks at us.
"Uh hey George, who's your new friend?" Josh asked and he stepped a bit closer to Finn, Ko and I.
"Her name is Amber, she's from the cheer squad, I asked her to go to WInter Formal with me next weekend."
All of us froze and our jaws dropped. We all disliked Amber but it seemed like George didn't know.
"Uh, hi there Amber, listen, we are all going over to my house to get some food and watch movies. Uh, you guys can go hang out and get to know each other if you want?" It seemed like George was going to say something when.
"Oh thanks! That sounds great! Come on Georgey boo!!"
