Orcas And Sharks Can't Be Boyfriends

   "YOU WANT TO SEND ME WHERE TO DO WHAT?!?" Benny yells at Jody who cringes and rubs her ears. She sighs and stares at the younger man before face palming and leaning back in her chair.

   "I want you to go to the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago as a representative for us. You barely do any actual work and you've never traveled. They also have Beluga Whales and Pacific White Sided Dolphins so maybe you should take Dean with you. He could check on them and see if their enclosures are as humane as possible. Plus they have a whole tank dedicated to sharks so you'll have something to see." She says and waves him off while looking ten years older than she really is, "Please Benny, it'd be good for the aquarium and you need to start doing more than just taking care of the sharks. I really appreciate what you do but I believe you can do more and be a great employee. So please..." Benny sighs and lays his head in the desk before sitting up and scratching his head.

   "Okay." He mumbles and nods then stands to leave, "Have a nice night Jody I'll go talk to Dean and get back with you tomorrow on what we're gonna be doing." The older woman smiles then stands and walks over to the young man tightly while saying thank you. Benny hadn't realized until now, but he's really tired. He hugs back and yawns quietly then pulls away with an easy smile, "You're the best boss ever." Jody chuckles and ruffled his hair the puts her hands on her hips.

"Head home and get some rest okay?" She pats his shoulder then his cheek before pushing him out if her office and closing the door. Benny's sighs out of relief and slouches before trudging to the locker room to shower and get out of his work clothes which are starting to get annoying and smelly from being around so many people.

   Once he's in the shower he just stands there for a while and relaxes without thinking or anything. Just enjoying the water. When he finishes he changes into some sweatpants and a hoodie then makes his way back into the locker room where Dean's basically passed out on the bench. He looks up at Benny and makes a noise then pushes his face into his stomach while pulling Benny closer, he eventually ends up in Dean's lap while Dean rubs his face into Benny's tee shirt and groans. Benny blushes then buries his face in Dean's hair while wrapping his arms around his neck and sighing, "Are you okay?" Dean nods and and moves to press his face into Benny's shoulder, "You need to get up so you can go home."

   Dean pauses for a second and pulls away to look up at Benny, "Home? As in like...Sam home or you home?" He kind of looks hurt and Benny sighs softly then sits back a little but keeps his arms draped over Dean's shoulders.

   "Sam home. He's your brother Dean and even though he isn't one of the best people in the world, he's still your family and he loves you. As much as you don't think he does he does okay? Hey look at me." Dean sighs and looks up at him then closes his eyes and slowly opens them.

   "He's an asshole."

   "Yeah I get that I do." Benny says and lets his head fall onto Dean's shoulder, "Just...please-"

   "Are you mad at me? Did I make you uncomfortable? Is that why you don't want me to stay with you?" Benny makes a face and sighs before nuzzling his face further into Dean's neck then takes a deep breath.

   "No, I don't think I'd be sitting in your lap if I was uncomfortable, do you?" Dean stays silent while Benny plays with the hair at the nape of his neck, "Exactly. So no I'm not mad at you. I just think you blocking out your brother and ignoring him is going to make it even harder for us."

"Please let me stay tonight, just tonight I'll stay with Sam tomorrow I promise." Dean begs while biting his lip and staring at the lockers ahead of him, "If you're tired of me you can say so I understand if you are in needy and touchy and I'm no good for you an-"

"Dean, just...c'mon you're staying with me but you're going to your dad's tomorrow wether you like it or not. They at least need to know that you're okay." Dean nods and presses his face into Benny's neck then stands and starts walking towards the exit. Benny hangs on tight with his legs while keeping his face tucked into Dean's neck.

When they make it to the car Dean steps Benny in the passenger's seat then drives the shirt ten minute drive to his apartment. Once there hime both are so tired that they go straight to bed but once he lays down Benny finds it extremely difficult to actually fall asleep. He looks over to check on Dean who's snoring loudly. After a few minutes of watching he gets up and walks into the kitchen to make some food then ends up watching Ghost Adventures.

   Around four in the morning Dean walks into the kitchen and comes back with a plate full of sushi and a big two liter bottle of sprite which he sets between him and Benny then starts digging in. Benny steals some food off his plate but their both to exhausted to care and in their half awake state the scripted tv show about ghosts and grown men who scream about being cold seems like the most interesting thing either man has ever seen. At some point they end up curled up together with Benny laying on Dean's chest while the taller man plays with his hair, "So, Jody wants us to go to Chicago." Benny says randomly and Dean nods.

   "Sure."
